I’m shocked they even heard it considering the amount of goals they have scored this year

I need to read the whole title. I was like ummm we score goals? 😂
Man I’ve been a fan for like 30 years and think the song is trash. Why take away such an iconic and classic song. Literally going from when the blues go marching in to that song is insane to think it was an improvement.
I wish I thought so highly of our goal song. I don’t like it much at all tbh.
Not a fan of the goal song and while we’re at it not a fan of the pregame intro. Feels like an advertisement for a concert more than a “get pumped for hockey” intro.
Related somewhat, but I miss when we had Song 2 play after a win. I loved the energy it brought to match how good a win felt!
Have never been a fan of the song. The chant is very cringey and manufactured and the minor-ish key just has a weird feel. I get what their strategy was, but, no thanks.
Said it before, say it again: if you want to use the Urge, just play “It’s Gettin Hectic” and call it a day. An upbeat song that would get people up, jumping, dancing, cheering, doing whatever they want to celebrate. Maybe they’ll organically create their own chant or dance to go along with it that becomes the accepted norm. And it coming from a local band that still has strong ties to the city makes it all the sweeter. Has always seemed like an easy layup to me.
