This is why Cook is the real 1st team All-Pro RB and Offensive Player of the year.
He won’t win either but it’s not even close as to who the best back in the NFL is right now.

Someone is not like the others…
Every week I say out of all our shitty personnel decisions we decided to bust Cooks balls all off season over a few million, he’s the only playmaker on the team besides Josh
I wanted to counter this by saying there’s no way CMC is “bad”, especially with the 49ers vying for the NFCW still and sitting at 10-4, but the data is consistent. He honestly is not having a good year lol. He’s averaging about 3 yards a carry in most games.
It’s funny because I don’t think of Cook as explosive. More like a gazelle gracefully tearing up the Savannah

So glad we paid him before this offseason… saved the team like 6-7 million dollars since he got like 12 and could have easily gotten 18-19 if they paid him this off-season
Idk why I would wanna trust a graphic that thinks CMC is bad. Or that Taylor, Henry, Achane, Gibbs, Monty and Judkins are too much of a boom or bust.
On old reddit on desktop, when I opened the preview for this I couldn’t see James Cook anywhere and thought I was going crazy. Turns out the image loaded with the very top right corner hiding behind the sidebar picture.
Rare is the fan that knew Cook could be THIS good. Right NOW there is no other back I would rather have in the league.
