Claxton is the highest profile option and is averaging 13.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 56.4 percent from the floor.

Williams has averaged only 15 minutes per game, with 5.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists, but possesses the raw athleticism that the Warriors are looking for. Ditto Gafford, who is shooting 61.4 percent from the floor, with 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.

Any of the three would help the Warriors improve their rebounding. Golden State ranks 24th in the league, with 51.6 per game.

What’s your trade?

Not asking whether a trade is likely or not. Asking what you would want from Golden State in a hypothetical deal.

  1. I assume Nets accept Kuminga plus a good unprotected first.
Claxtons value is very high at the moment.

  2. Claxton is not available. Trading him would destroy any chance of competing in 2027 with no other viable rim protecting centers to replace his production on this roster. He’s having his best season yet as he’s recovered his burst and athleticism while also improving his offensive game in terms of self-creation and playmaking this year. Keep him so we can have a functional roster to pair with our 2026 lottery pick.

  3. Gafford and Rob Williams are more likely to be the Warriors center than Claxton. They are on teams with multiple centers.

We only have Day’ron and Claxton.

It’s easier and probably cheaper to get Rob/Gafford than it would be for Clax

  4. Fine with clax leaving even tho he’s a staple here but for the love of god please no kuminga

  5. At what point will the Nets realize that they can’t sell off every player for FRPs when they owe a swap in ’27? They will need bodies and soon.

  6. Claxton is 26 so he might not be our starting center when the rebuild is complete. Any trades will have to include a post curry first round pick. Dont take back Kuminga’s bumass either.

  7. Kuminga, Brandon POD, and a future-unprotected 1st (post curry). .I’m okay with that

  8. I think Claxton is worth multiple picks. Something like 2 FRP’s and an expiring salary dump.

People don’t realize how team friendly his contract is. It was front loaded and decreases each season. That’s very valuable to a team like GSW who are a luxury tax team with several max contracts on the books.
