This is what the league needed. A head coach going at the refs for blatant missed calls against OKC

  1. r/thunder thinks Finch is the loudest, whiniest coach in the league. They clearly don’t watch any non-OKC games, because Finch is one of the most reserved I’ve seen.

  2. It’s funny that OKC are calling him out for whining and EVERY other teams fans in the nba are applauding Finchy for taking a stand against the bullshit. If every team is saying they’re experiencing one sided reffing when they play you? You might get a good whistle. I’m just sayin.

  3. Every fanbase is on Finch’s side except for OKC’s fanbase and a couple of loser strays. Finch gets annoyed he coaches 100 games to get to the WCF only to be fucked over by these theatrical acting clowns on the same team.

he’s sick of their bullshit and so is everybody else.

  4. What’s nuts is back in the day OKC was my number two team. As a Minnesota fan I just liked that they weren’t a glamorous destination like us. Plus the Russ and KD era was fun. I thought I’d be happy that OKC was doing well while the wolves were. But as I watched the current team grow I started seeing things. SGA was super exciting to watch at first but then I saw something I hadn’t seen in years. I had Deja vu of a young James harden. Then over time a team I really liked I started to really hate. It would be one thing if they acknowledged how hard they are allowed to play defense, or SGA came out and said “yeah I’m a foul baiting baby back bitch” but nope. They think they are the second coming of the 96 bulls. Then last night happened. Crazy how a game turns out when your defense gets called for all the fucking hacking they do. Like I never thought I’d see the day that the Wolves got 47 free throw attempts. Lmao then the thunder are all shocked to find out you can’t hack a man’s arms for an entire game and not get called. Lmao it was so good.

  5. Just coming over to y’alls sub to praise Finch and offer props to Wolves. Great win.

As Nuggets fans, we have wondered if other teams would start feeling how we feel. OKC’s officiating really, really gets you coming and going and we do not understand. How can it be this way?

    Anyway, great job overcoming it.

  6. I have been very critical of Finch and his capabilities as a coach. But this was awesome. This could be the moment the players galvanize. I love it.

  7. I hope every coach does this against them. Should be on everyone’s scouting report after yesterday.

  8. Every coach needs to follow his lead! However, Finch has lost the most with the way they wrap up OKC on offense and defense. Last year the refs took game one from us and probably game two from us by the way they officiated the game in western conference finals!

  9. Let’s b real all we have to do is look at last playoffs okc and timberwolves the 1 game we won against them everyone from both team had around the same freethrows 😂💯

  10. Need all the coaches and players doing that daily, to the long that the league can’t ignore it anymore.

  11. I think that the way he reacted warranted his ejection.
And I think it was important that he reacted this way. The NBA is a business and they see dollar signs first and foremost. They execs in their offices don’t care how we *feel* about basketball, as long as we’re spending money. They don’t have a reason to change until somebody makes a reason.

So I’m team Finch… raise hell. I give him props for hopefully getting this conversation going for real.
