NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Senators – December 20, 2025
Ender Omar get a shut out and then you change the goalenders. But you’re right, because of the back-to-back games, he’ll play the more in Boston. This one underway this afternoon. Glad to have you with us on Chicago Sports Network. Puck inside the Ottawa zone. >> Shabbat leads the attack. He’ll make a pass. They score. All sorts of traffic in the crease. Sun couldn’t move. >> No chance for the goalie to move. And the big question from the official standpoint in for Toronto is is is the impact of the defenseman blasting and does he pin him there? Once they get in there, maybe it’s a yes. Would Zerland have been able to stop on the blue paint and stay out of it? >> After coach’s challenge, it was determined that there was goaler interference. So therefore, we have no >> We had three disallowed goals in Montreal on Thursday. We had one in Toronto on Tuesday and >> and an anytime goal for that guy right there. Tyler Berusi had a chance to be with some of his buddies last night here in the Ottawa area. He’s got 16 this season. There’s a play in the front. Oh, they score again with traffic in the crease. Kachchuck was standing behind Sonnaloo and the puck finds its way in. We could look at this one again as well. He could have another challenge. Well, I said at any time is a is a safe bet. You see off the face off number seven in the dark jersey. He gets right to the front. It goes off his skate and into the net if the goalender can’t get towards that puck. I’m not a hockey analyst anymore. Let’s get the call. After video review, it has been determined that number seven Ottawa does not interfere with the goalender. This is the goal. All right, I go char game penalty. Unsuccessful challenge >> them on that. Linesman just didn’t see it that way. Good pace off win by Green against Ridley Greg. That allows Kaiser to go to the puck in the corner with a bit of time and he’ll fire a long pass ahead. Here’s Mav WITH A BIT. SCORES MAV. HEY, DIDN’T LIKE THE ICING CALL, BUT HE LIKES THAT. TIES THIS GAME up at one. Now he’s going to go to the linesman and say thanks for the icing call. What a play. You know, inexplicably, the Ottawa Senators put no pressure on Kaiser on the tape of McKay. Kaiser’s got the puck right now. He waits. He waits. And before Jensen can get there to McKay, oh, he goes underneath the stick. He waits for the goalender to move. The goalender comes out and challenges. And now funnels back. And as he goes backwards, his stick left exposed. His pad’s not on the ice. And McKay makes a beautiful read to fire >> paraphernalia. They’ll call that clearly does get bumped. >> Five of the first six have been successful. >> After video review, there was determined that there was no goalender. >> Oh wow. >> A minor penalty of the game >> and then retreat and play it down the ice. And another part without Connor Bard in the lineup, you can see the pressure they just had on Terrain on Bertusi and then over to Lefchov at the point. >> And don’t forget no Nazar shorthanded breakaway. Stutza scores. Tim Stutzla short-handed and Ottawa’s back on top. The Hawks trying to get in the zone chair and tries to flip it over to the right which was Doc and the German board stola that’ll play in the Olympic Games in February. Knocks it out of midair. You’re not going to catch him by this time here. He fakes, fakes, fakes, goes to the blocker, waits for the goalender to drift to the goalender’s left and then just slide it underneath the bar. He made that look easy. Up frontski takes a look. Green one more time. Verikovski shoots, STOPPED, REBOUND. THEY JAM AWAY. PUCK STAYS OUT AND FINALLY smothered by Marina. Verusi whacking away at it. Side of the goal. Vertusi on the back hand. That’s off the mask of Marina. Burkovski gets the puck back to the line to Lebanon. He’ll walk it across. Burkovski one more time. SHOT DEFLECTS AND SCORE. Chopped in front. Burkovski with the shot. Fori might have deflected that in. I think it’ll be Burkovsky’s though and that power play goal ties this game at two. >> Yeah, a fortunate break and the Hawks could certainly use that little give and go with Green to Burkovski and you see this shot goes off the first man Jensen. No, Zoop, excuse me, number two right there. And now it flutters. The goalender can’t see it. It goes right between his army. Didn’t find it through Sanderson’s body. Vertusi’s right there on the doorstep. He’s likely anticipating it’s going over to his left. It does does not. And it’s a power play goal to tie it at two. He’s pressured. Gets help. Grizzlies it back to left. Flipped over the line. Nope. This hand kept on side by Shabbat. That was close. Here’s Kachchuck. Scores. Brad Kachchuck rips it home. Posted in. And with that play at the blue line, I wonder if he might get another challenge back here as well. >> Linesman is right there. He signals obviously it’s an okay play and then the pass across was off the mark goes all the way down to solder balloon. >> Long feed Donado chipped over. Good pass. Two more. Burst the speed. Donado in front. THEY SCORE. IT WENT IN. IT WAS IN. RICOCHETED IN ON THE FEED IN FRONT AND I THINK MIGHT HAVE A SECOND OF THE game per if not him. Donado and it doesn’t matter but it starts WITH A GOOD HEADS UP PLAY BY THE goalender and the puck goes all the way down. He waits. He looks he surveys the situation and he fires a dart right over there to Donado. Nice play to Mo. Donado to Ma body off the My goodness. This is a nice flat beautiful pass from distance. Smart play by Moore to protect play it back and yep it definitely goes off Shabbat stick I mean he was the last player back to Giru slapper and that’s wide up the board Shabbat at the line David Pon top of the circle started the goal for Zeland he couldn’t settle it down has to regain control behind the net now Giru shot by Pon is in it’s a power play goal by David Peron and The Senators have the lead again. A good wrist this one here with the play on the outside. At one point it looked like Blic was able to get a hold of it and get it out of the zone, but that wasn’t the case. He got pressure on him and then Claude Giru just feathers up. Oh boy, that’s a peach of a pass right there. ends up flat there right as it touches the ice and David Prawn takes a little bit of a divot fires it back to the point. Thomas Shabbat plays it over to Zoo wristed in deep off the bench racing into the play as Lexel colliding with Murphy play to front. Haron scores. Second of the period for David Pon and it’s 53 Senators. Senators feeding off that call on Dickinson that led to the first power play goal and they have not taken their foot off the gas since that time. All in the defensive zone here for the Hawks. himself takes a hit from Murphy to make a play and you got to give him a lot of credit for that play and he plays it there. Peron gets it. He drags it. Drags it. Drags it much like we see with Conor Bard. Then he gets it between the heel of the stick and the steered out by Lexel back inside the Hawk zone. Blastic there to pick it up. Tipped in by Dickinson. Nick Lardis on the board check but Sanderson back with time. He’ll leave it in the corner for Zoo. That’ll be cut off by Vlassic. Played it IN FRONT. THEY SCORE AND THAT’S THE FIRST for Nick LARDIS IN THE NHL ON THE BACK HAND and he cuts the lead to one. A beautiful pass from the left point. Blic takes it on the forehand and slides it on the backand. Heads up play by Blic and that’s how quick the hands are of young Nick Lardes from Oakville, Ontario. plays his first NHL game against Detroit. Goes original six Toronto, original six Montreal, and here in the province of Ontario, he gets his first National Hockey League goal. And it’s a beauty and it gets the leg with a punt for check by Giru. Shoveled in a bouncer wide there. Greg able to get it though to the slot. They score. Ripped in by Zetterland and it’s back to a twogoal game. Hawks don’t get that puck in deep and because of that the centers come the other way. He’s got a good shot. Always has starting in San Jose. And he just lets this one go. Ridley Greg just waits and waits and waits and finds his man. And this is just a dangerous dangerous shot right there. here. The goalender can’t find it off his stick. Time winding down and that will do it. A wild afternoon game.
David Perron scored two of Ottawa’s three third-period goals, while Tim Stutzle tallied three points as the Senators earned a 6-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Ilya Mikheyev recorded two goals and Ryan Greene added two assists in the loss.

Terribly edited but great win by the Sens!
Hawks are tanking trying to get #1 pick again 😊
bro no way they played 007 pause music😂
That ref needs to be held accountable for that silly mistake, playing with peoples emotions isn’t professional
Huge win boys. Get some rest and get ready for the Bruins tomorrow
9:19 Let's go Zetterlund and great pass to him
The hawks should have just stayed in the rebuild. They have multiple contracts they should just trade away. They should have traded donato for a 3rd since he does not help them win anything.
Got to admit, Hawks put up a way better fight than I expected them too. First couple periods was very good from them, but the 3rd period they didn't seem to come out with the same energy.
Great tough fought game from the Sens! Go Sens!!
Do the Senators practice all day shooting at the top corners ?
Am I the only Hawks fan who thinks we should have picked Demidov instead of Levshunov?
How is soderblom still in the nhl should’ve been booted 2 years ago
🔥
Tkachuk didn't interfere with the goalie but sure fell on top of him easily! LOL.
Y do fans salute the devil is he playing or did the player sell his soul
Whenever you see Soderblom in goal you know he's good for a half dozen and an automatic loss . Swiss cheese screen door Soderblom , pathetic !!!!!
This AI editing must end.
Белые господа опять пресекли попытку индейцев покинуть зону резервации.
7:29 WHAT A PASS BY STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
