Better F’ing not lose out on him after you broke the Devers situation early in the season for Breggy.
If the Blue Jays got Bregman (I don’t think likely) hopefully we’d show we’re “not against giving longer contracts to players under 30” and sign Bichette.

Drive the price up on Toronto. Make sure they pay for six years. Mayers at 3rd. Bichette at 2B and Lowe at 1B. Yes Lowe. Breslow could have had him cheaper. Lowe is going to give you 80-100 rbi’s with that lefty swing to RF. Its up to Cora to get these guys to play some defense. Never have too much pitching. Giolito is going to be better than last year. Or has Breslow completely burned all the bridges? This guy is getting a rep for that. Remember Henry trying to intermediate in KC with Devers? Where was Breslow through all that?
I would definitely like Bregman back but I’ve been starting to wonder if it would be wiser to sign Bichette to play 2b. Bregman is obviously still a good player when healthy and a great leader but he is gonna be 32 and has dealt with quad injuries in recent years. Bichette is 4 years younger and still has his prime years ahead of him while we don’t know how much longer Bregman will play at a high level. I think Bichette would slot in the 2 hole pretty nicely behind Roman
