Warsofsky Impressed by Chernyshov & Graf, Bemoans Mistakes | Sharks vs Kraken Post-Game (12.20.25)
Coach, another game that seemed like it was very winnable, sort of like the last time against the dollar stars, but didn’t come out on the right end here. >> Yeah, frustrating. You know, I thought had moments we had some some good things going on in our game and then um yeah, it’s just frustrating. It’s good to work for it. >> You think they were trying to create offense? There were quite a few turnovers tonight which ended up in goals. So, what do you thought? Was that trying to force offense there when it’s not necessary? >> Uh, one of them, yes. And then, you know, three of the three out of the four obviously are um it’s puck play on the walls. We don’t make the right play. We don’t make a hard enough play. Um we don’t cover the middle of the ice enough and then um yeah, they get two bounces. >> Uh Colin Graph said, you know, asked about this home. I know you guys did play well in general, but he said disappointing. And is that nice to hear in the sense of um you know, we’re not talking about moral victories anymore in that locker room. talking about, you know, just results and points and >> you know, arguably there’s two games we should have won. So, uh, you know, I think we’re frustrated in a sense tonight just because that’s a game that’s, you know, we should win that game, you know, and, um, we shoot ourselves in the foot with some puck play. >> What can you say about Colin tonight? Uh, seems so confident with the puck. Is this the most confident that you’ve seen him with the puck offensively in the NHL? >> Yeah, for sure. In all three zones. you saying that the you know the work he’s done in the off season here has really helped him you know almost the midway point of this season do do you see that working for him of the work that’s >> Yeah for sure his conditioning is really good to play you know in a top six role you got to have good conditioning and um his conditioning is really good he’s done done a lot of work on that and now he’s playing confident >> mentioned that the board board plays tonight but how would you assess Ascarov tonight kind of just >> Yeah I thought he was thought he was good made some big saves early in first and probably wants the first one back, but you know, two get two of them go off, you know, off people and come into the net. So, nothing you can do with those. >> Maybe he look like a guy belongs at the level. >> Yes, >> it looks really good. >> Do you feel like maybe this game pulled you guys out of the structure a little bit? Kind of a little scramble over the place that maybe led to some of those bad bounces that maybe went off guys like that just maybe out of structure a little bit. >> No, I think it was soft puck play. So, coach, uh, two tough losses in a row. Do you worry about the confidence waning at all with the team? >> No. No. I mean, it’s not like we just got our bl doors blown off. We played a good hockey game. We’ve played two good games here in a row. We’ve started on that road trip. We started finding our identity of a of a hockey team. Um, you know, but I think we’re frustrated with with this one, this outcome. Um, because that was a game, you know, looking back at we just got to dig in a little bit more in some areas and it’s a winnable game. Turner seems to be getting better with each game. What is he what was stood out tonight? >> Yeah, this the pace again, you know, he he’s a man, you know, a big man that can can take pucks to the net. We saw that early in the first. He’s he’s really picking up our structure. I know it’s very similar to the Barracuda, but um he’s not out of position very often. He’s a smart player. I I I know I think he’s going to have a really high ceiling, which is which is a real positive that we’re seeing right now. >> Are you surprised at all how quickly he’s looked this comfortable at this level? >> Yeah, for sure. You know, I’ve watched some games, you know, when we’re not playing and and he probably sticks out more up here than I saw in those games. So, um he’s done some good things. >> Any further update? >> Sam gets a chance to get back in there tonight. Looked like maybe a couple moments maybe hesitated a little bit. How would you assess? >> Yeah, I think so. I think, you know, he he’s done some good things. I thought his legs were going tonight. I think there’s some things we got to continue to work on with with him of playing a little bit quicker. Um, you know, and and probably in junior you can play slower, you can transport the puck. Um, we want to play quick. That’s how we get on teams. And when we slow pucks down is where we get in trouble. And, um, that’s not just Sam. That that’s, you know, really our young D uh trying to grasp how we want to play and how you need to play in the National Hockey League. There’s no there’s no real, you know, we all do the same things in 32 other team 31 other teams. So, um you know, we got to get a young defenseman really to dial in some puck play stuff and details in their games uh for us to keep, you know, pushing the envelope of winning hockey games. >> Uh any further update on Lil Jaring? >> Uh yeah, he’s going to be dayto-day. Um probably doubtful for for Vegas. >> What happened? What happened? >> Just the upper body that uh kind of got after him here in the morning skate. Okay, >> thanks.

This guy is another Greg Cronin. Why in the world would you put the 4th line out there with under five minutes left and Skinner with the empty net? Absolutely delusional
