Zach Werenski Shot Block Ankle Injury

in the crease at the other end. We’ll keep an eye on that faceoff win right to Winsky and his shot blocked. Carlson starts back with it. Charges through the neutral zone with Crider and Terry. Terry cuts to the middle. Had his shot blocked. Peronov picks up the loose change and moves up the right boards. He’ll backhand this one wide of Doall. Looking around and lifting it ahead is Trouba. Cylinger got a skate on it. Didn’t possess it. And here comes Carlson. Morenski. Oh wow. They blew that play dead as the Ducks were on the rush. Morensky, I didn’t know if he was hurt or if he lost a blade. I think he’s hurt, John. They called it offside. >> Uh, and that’s the reason why the whistle was blown, but I don’t >> think that was offside. >> See what happened to Zach Morinsky. It’s off the ankle. The shot by Troy Terry and that’s why he had trouble getting to the bench. The goalender M where Leakkins gives him a shove, but he wasn’t able to put any weight on that foot. And boy, he is being helped. >> I think Crider may have gone offside. You’re right. I thought they blew that dead for Winsky. No, >> for the potential injury and he is in a good deal of trouble as he’s being helped back to the Columbus blue line. John, I I think we’re going to get a penalty against the Blue Jackets here for too many men. Morinsky couldn’t get off the ice and a player jumped on and Dean Everson right now. Well, that would be a tough call for his group. >> He’s getting the explanation, but watch what happens here. The Ducks are on the attack and Minsk’s not close enough to the bench when Mateek jumped over the boards. Here’s the shot that hits him and it’s right off the right ankle and you can only hope for Zack Morinsky that there is not any kind of a break or fracture. >> Yeah, if there is. So, the Ducks will go on the power play with 211 to go in the

  1. Remember when Zach took a puck to the face, laid on the ice bleeding and they didn’t call the play dead and the Penguins scored? All while Z laid there for 30 seconds with players skating around him…..

  2. Refs, as usual, ignorantly not whistling for a serious injury and making the wrong call. In the CBJ game feed there were different angles where you can clearly see Zach was within a few feet of the bench, writhing in pain and CLEARLY unable to play, when another player left. He was close enough to the bench. I’m both a Ducks and CBJ fan, but that was clearly giving favor to the Ducks who were already ahead by one with a little over two to go.

  3. What do you know, the refs blatantly hate the CBJ again and won't give us a whistle or a call ever. This is so surprising, almost like it hasn't been happening for 25 straight years

  4. What is with the refs and not being able to see when a player is clearly injured and get off the ice on his own which is the only reason there’s more than five guys on the ice. I swear I’d put every single ref through a reduction process if I could.
