🚨Baltimore Ravens Make MULTIPLE Roster Moves Before Ravens vs. Patriots

Morning Ravens fans and happy game day to each and every single one of you. We got a great show coming up for you guys. Starting off with some roster moves that the Baltimore Ravens have made over the weekend ahead of tonight’s Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots. And on the back half of today’s show, I’m going to give you four things that the Baltimore Ravens have to change if they want to be victorious tonight against the Pats. Speaking of the Pats game, you know, we’ve been playing the Pats all week long right here with our week 16 sub battle against Patriots today. I cannot express how much I dislike their host Brett Alper. He’s my least favorite co-orker. So, if we lose this battle, I’m going to lose my mind. Plain and simple. Need you guys to help me out. Subscribe to the channel. Let’s take down the Patriots and then that way we can take them down tonight. Some of the roster moves this weekend start with Teddy Buchanan being moved to season ending injured reserve. And this isn’t like that big of a surprise. Obviously, it came out earlier in the week or last week, I guess, whatever the way you look at your weeks, that he tore his ACL last Sunday. And so, we knew he was not going to play another snap, but they make the move official. That way, they can open up some roster spots on that 53man roster. And it’s a shame because Teddy Buchanan was having an unbelievable season. And I think, and I’ve said this all week long, we saw the potential, but I don’t think any of us expected him to reach that or be as impactful in year one. And he has been plain and simple. Like coming into this year, it felt like linebacker was a big question mark. Teddy Buchanan was that answer. Now hopefully he can get started on his recovery, be back somewhere around the start of the 2026 season, or at least by weeks two, three, or four. The next two roster moves are moves from the practice squad to the active roster. William Quanku, linebacker, activated from the practice squad, as well as Josh Tupo activated from the practice squad. We’ve actually seen Josh a couple of games this season. saw him against Kansas City where he actually had three tackles and then I believe it was the Pittsburgh game where he also played uh a decent bit as well. Look, not horrible depth at those two positions. Those are two positions on this team after all of the injuries. You’re going to need as much depth as you can. We all know Nandavke being gone is a massive loss to the interior of the defensive line. Linebacker, that position has been a battlefield for the Baltimore Ravens as you know, Chandler Martin’s out for the year with an ACL. Obviously, Teddy Buchanan’s out for the year with an ACL and Jen Jay Higgins has missed multiple games, but hopefully he’s going to be a guy to lean on. Now, he’s going to be out for tonight’s game. You’re not going to see him, unfortunately. However, week 17 and week 18, I expect him to be some sort of effect, whether it’s heavily involved in special teams or whether you see him a little bit more out there on the football field than you normally would if this team was fully healthy. And I think based on what we saw of him preseason, like there’s reasons to be a little bit excited about that. I loved what I saw from Jay Higgins. We also know his dad has the most electric account on social media. Great follow if you don’t follow his dad on Twitter. Regardless, Jay Higgins is going to be a guy to lean on the last two weeks of the season. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to do that tonight. Speaking of tonight, you want the Ravens to beat New England. If you do, do me one big favor. Hit the thumbs up button on today’s video and hit that like. Don’t go anywhere, okay? Because I got something that you’ll love on the opposite side of today’s ad read. This must change against New England. Four things that the Baltimore Ravens need to change to beat the Patriots. But something I know that you guys will love that we got to give a big shout out to for just a couple of seconds is our awesome sponsor, our great friends over at Price Pix. It is the holiday season, ladies and gentlemen. We got four days until Christmas and means it’s the best time of the year for sports. For the rest of today’s show, I thought it’d be fun to put my John Harbaugh hat on. All right, act like the head coach and tell you four things I think that have to change going into tonight’s game. meaning four things that the Baltimore Ravens have to do if they want to take down the New England Patriots. Number one, the first thing that has to change is the lack of play action. Okay, and I’ve been talking about this pretty much all season long. I personally think it’s been weird how little play action Todd Monkin has called for the Baltimore Ravens. They’ve only ran play action 14% of the time. That’s 23rd in the National Football League. They’ve got Derk Henry as their running back and they run play action as a bottom 10 team in the NFL. That makes no sense to me. And I get it. Like maybe part of the reason you’re doing it is because Lamar Jackson has not had the best season when it comes to throwing the football. He also missed multiple games. But still, Monkin, 14% of the time you’re running play action and you got Derek Henry in your backfield, you’re going against tonight a run defense that in the last five weeks they have struggled. No Milton Williams, no Robert Spalain. You should be able to run the ball all game long to help set up your run and set up your pass. I want to see a lot more play action, a lot more than we’ve seen. Maybe the reason they’re not doing it is because the offensive line, they don’t believe can block long enough, but still, man, you got to throw in the play action. Another thing I want to think uh another thing I want to think, another thing I want to see change is the consistent deep passes. Okay? Or at least consistent deep targets. We talked about this on Tuesday’s show. Maybe it was Wednesday’s show. Um Josh Allen’s average depth of target against New England last Sunday was 8.6 yards. That’s not very high, guys. Josh Allen’s average depth of target for this year is like the lowest of his career. And he’s still putting up great numbers. And I’ve been talking about for a long time getting Lamar’s average depth of target down. Multiple reasons, right? Helps you get into a little bit of a rhythm. And for a guy like Lamar Jackson that has struggled getting into a rhythm over the last four or five weeks, I think that would help a lot personally. I mean, look at his A dot over the last four games. 11.4, 12.1, 9.6, and then 11.4 again. Average depth of target is how far on average these wide receivers are down the field. 11.4 yards. His average target. That’s too deep. Make it smaller. case we still have the list three logo to keep running down. So you have the, you know, uh, ability to get into a rhythm. That would be super helpful. That’s the number one reason you got to go with a smaller A dot from time to time because, like I’ve said, it struggled in doing that. Number two is you’re less turnover pro when you have a smaller average depth of target because you’re throwing the ball downfield far less. And then number three, less three and outs, which is a problem this team has had for the entirety of this year. feels like they’re going three and out way more than we’ve ever seen. Well, if you can, you know, complete a little bit shorter passes, have longer sustained drives. You want Lamar to ball out tonight, cuz I do. I need it to happen. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are just like me, and if you want Lamar to be Lamar, do me one big favor. Hit that thumbs up button and like today’s video. Number three, Katon Mitchell on the side. Okay, I’m tired of John Harbaugh and Todd Monkin treating Katon Mitchell like a side piece because I think he’s proved to us enough this year that maybe nobody’s more electric with the ball in their hands on this team than he is. Every single time he touches it, it seems like something happens. He just brings the juice, man. It’s so different than when anybody else has the football. Did you know that this year he’s got nine rushes of 10 or more yards on only 39 carries? That means 23% of the time that Katon Mitchell is touching the football, he is running for 10 yards or more. This year, almost a fourth of the time. That’s like if Derrick Henry this year based on the amount of carries he has. That’s like if he had 53 rushes for 10 yards or more. Now, I’m not saying that to spite Derrick Henry. I’m more saying that to lift up Katon Mitchell and show you just how good he’s been. He got like 12 snaps last week. And sure, you won the football game 24 to zero. I’m never going to complain about that. But what I will do is complain about a guy who’s unbelievable when he’s got the ball in his hands being on the sideline. That’s got to change. Okay. And number four, I think he got to change from going with fourhees and follow Lelay all game long. Like that has to change because I believe in the very limited snaps that Emry Jones Jr. showed you last week that he proved that he deserves to get a little bit more run. I think if anything, these two guys have proved that they deser deserve to not get a little bit more run. Like why do we keep running our heads into this exact same wall? And like meanwhile, Emory Jones came in last week in Cincinnati and just put someone on their back and he played three snaps and he got himself a pancake block. I mean, look at it. There he is right there at the left guard spot. It’s a little pitch play to Katon Mitchell. makes good initial early contact, continues on with the block, keeping his hands active. Guy tries to get away. Looks like he tries a little bit of a rip move. Emory Jones stays on him and then he uses that power, that strength, and he puts him on the turf. And then the exact same play. Let’s check in on our good friend number 77. He’s not pulling, but he’s moving right. It’s a pitch play to the left. makes good initial contact and then just gets pushed around and he’s in the position we are used to seeing him in which is almost fall. Now he doesn’t actually end up falling over on this play but he might as well have because like he’s not doing anything there. So I want as much Emory Jones as we can get. Like what’s the harm? It’s not going to get much worse than those two guys have shown. for the last time before we ask you tonight who you got. B A L or Ne. Let me know in the comment section down below. Reminder, we’ll be live for this game later tonight. We’ll go live at 7:20 Eastern time. Hope to see you guys there. I’ll tweet it out when we do go live. 1. When Lamar loses he always gets blamed. First the OL stinks. The play calling stinks and they run the same plays every single week at the beginning of the game. RUN, RUN, PASS.🤔
