We got a real big game tonight against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. So, everybody going to be watching. Put in the comments section your confidence level in our Baltimore Ravens. I’m feeling it, man. I I’m feeling really confident. And I know people call me crazy, which is fine cuz I am, but I’m saying 30 to 17 Ravens. I I’m feeling like the Baltimore Ravens are going to win. Not only win this game, but win it convincingly. So, we’ll see what happens. cuz as long as they get out there with the win, that’s obviously the most important thing because this is such an important game for them. Now, of course, before this game even starts, we’re going to be keeping our eyes close on their Steelers and Lions game. And Steelers are without some key players. Obviously, TJ Watt, he’s going to be out, but um Lions, just blow them out if you want. Just take care of business against Pittsburgh. We know you will, but just handle that. And then something else to keep an eye on too, um we can’t look too far ahead. Well, we can look ahead as fans, but the the team can’t. But, you know, they watching though. But Jordan Love um in that game last night, uh that Packers and Bears, that game was so good. It was a great game. I loved it. It was one of my favorite games this year. But anyway, um in that game last night, Jordan Love, he suffered a concussion. And I honestly thought I was like, “Oh yeah, he about to come back. He going to come back in the game.” But he didn’t. He got ruled out for the rest of the game. and that could potentially maybe impact the game uh next Saturday. So, we’ll see. Now, uh some quick updates on these Baltimore Ravens. Uh yesterday, they said they did place Teddy Buchanan on injury reserve and they also activated linebacker William Quanku and nose tackle Josh Topole from the practice squad ahead of the game tonight. Uh and then they said that Brent Urban, he has an illness. he got added to the injury report and is questionable to play. So, I wonder if that has something to do with that flu that John Harbaugh has been going around the locker room. Either way, um, no excuses. Ravens still got a game to play and a huge one at that. Show up. So, as we do every single game for the Baltimore Ravens, we will be doing a live stream. So, y’all make sure y’all come through for that. He said, “I’ve been subscribed to you for about a year now and this is my first email.” Okay. Appreciate that. Thank you. I’m glad you sent one. I appreciate that. And you’ve been subscribed for a year. Woo. And now this just your first email, which is great. So Danny was like he said, “Let let me let me see what this guy’s about.” He used to he he subscribed to about a year ago and was like, “I don’t know.” He look crazy. Maybe he talked too much. Then he said, “You know what? Let me finally send email.” But I appreciate you. Anyway, he said, “Hope the family is good. Just had a random thought. Why is Daniel Fle never injured? Why is it always a player we need bad and never someone like Falafel?” Nah. No, we no, we can’t do that, Danny. No, we we don’t want to wish injury on nobody. Like, and people staying healthy, that’s a great thing. Uh whether you are a fan of the player or not. Um them being healthy is great because the this is their livelihood. This is their job. Um these are their careers and you hate people’s careers. You hate to see people’s careers go down the drain because of health. Um so yeah, we don’t want to wish injury on nobody. If you hope that somebody gets benched, excuse me, because of poor plate, that’s one thing. But the injury, no, we ain’t doing that. Next question came from my guy Dylan. He said, “Hello. Been watching your breakdowns on a Raven for many years now. Uh, you’re the only thing that keeps me from smashing my TV.” I appreciate that, Dylan. Thank you, man. Uh, he said they need you up in the commentator’s box. Oh, no. No. They you No, man. We be having too much fun up there. and they like they would know that we were Ravens fans for sure. Uh the only people who could have us in the commentators box would be the actual Ravens because if if I’m in the commentator box and Fox, a NBC, ABC, CBS, whatever, uh that bias going to come out too much cuz I’m going to be knowing who every single Ravens player is. And then for the other team, I’m going be like, “Who’s that? Who’s that?” Even though I know they got some like cards or sheets that tell them every single player. I’m like, “Ain’t no way y’all know who every single player is every single game and y’all got a story on all of them.” I’m like, like they they be talking like they could be a fourth string uh defensive lineman on special teams or something like that and they oh well they this guy went to high school here. His family grew up here. He’s from over here and this is what his first job was. I’m like really man but so I know they got info on all of that to help them out. So that would help me out. So maybe it wouldn’t it wouldn’t be so bad. So you never know. But anyway, I appreciate that, man. He said, “On my question. Our receiver issues have never seemed to be fully solved. So, in the circumstance that we do finally get a certified big body wide receiver, why do you think the Miles Boyin project was such a big flop?” Wow. Cuz Miles Boyin, he they tried. He was what, a third round draft pick in 2019, I think. Um, and yeah, he was like 65, I think. He had the frame. He had the frame for sure. Was he from Notre Dame or Georgia Tech? I forget which one he went to, but um, yeah, Miles Boyin, man. Um, just didn’t work out because I think uh, Lamar ran out of trust for him and the Baltimore Ravens still were not at their best when it came to developing wide receivers yet. They’re much better at it now. They still could be better, but they’re much better now uh than they were back then. Um it just wasn’t the right place, right time with uh Miles Boyin. It really wasn’t, man. Um back then it was just like that bingo safety said 15 and 89. That’s it. So it was Hollywood and Mark Andrews, that’s it. Everybody else got a little piece of the pie, but it was just the Hollywood and Mark Andrews show uh in the passing game. Um, but yeah, I do really think that that Lamar, he just ran out of trust uh for Miles Boyin, too, because there were a couple of instances where Miles Boyin looked like he would run the wrong play and there would just be that constant frustration from Lamar to him and just they were not on the same page and then it seemed like they were not even in the same book anymore after that. Um, and then yeah, he just started getting less opportunities and then that was it. Next question came from a guy. said, “If we win the Super Bowl this year, it’s going to be downplayed with, “Well, Momes was hurt. Had he not got hurt and the Chiefs made the playoffs, do the Ravens still make it?” I say, “If because I haven’t seen enough to be convinced we go on a deep playoff run.” That’s cool. They’re going to give you a little more convincing tonight, but it’s cool. I I respect what you’re saying. He said, “Although they are looking better, if we beat the Patriots, that’ll convince me a little more.” Okay, so he said that. Okay, I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. He said, “Also, take your flowers. You always say this channel exists because of us. Because it does. It does. Like if I got on here and said whatever about the Ravens, record a video about the Ravens and I posted that video about the Ravens and nobody watches, then I’m talking to myself. I’m I’m I’m practicing. So, but y’all come through and and the the the video, like I always say, the majority of the videos is y’all. It really is. That’s why you you need to take your flowers, Mr. ZGA. I appreciate you. You need to take your flowers. Shout out to Zay, by the way. Have a big game tonight, Z. But, um, seriously, that’s why I appreciate y’all, man, because had cuz we we we talking about like, and I tell you a lot of times, man, I I do get frustrated a lot of time because um the channel I I just feel like it’s it I I want it to be bigger than what it is. I wanted to grow more. I wanted to grow faster. A lot of times it’s slow growth. Some I want the videos to get a lot more views than they do. I want to have a lot more subscribers than we do. But it’s very very important to be appreciative of where it is now. Um because a lot of channels don’t don’t make a lot of people quit. A lot of people give up for it for for obvious reasons because YouTube is tough. It’s tough. It’s it’s it’s extremely saturated. It’s a million people doing the same thing. Even for Ravens content alone, it’s a million people doing it and they all great and I love it and I love all of them. So, shout out to just everybody. It’s long list of people we could go down the list for, but shout out to everybody. But it is it’s so many people doing it. So, it could be so easy to be like, you know, I ain’t doing this cuz I’ve seen that from people and I’ve seen people have get a,000 subscribers quick, get 5,000 subscribers quick, get 10,000 subscribers and they commute quit. Just stop. And it’s for different reasons of course, but um it’s hard. So being at uh 86,000 subscribers, I’m very very grateful for it. Very very grateful. But I I I can’t subscribe to the channel myself 86,000 times. That came from other people, which I’m very very appreciative. That came from y’all. And again with the videos we talk about whatever Ravens news is happening, whatever current events going on with our favorite football team, but that might last like 5 minutes maybe at the beginning of the video at the top of the video and then it’s all y’all. It’s all and these video don’t be no like 8 minute video. There don’t be no 10-minute video. There don’t even be 15-minute video. If I if I have a 15-minute video, I’ll be like, “Woo!” I’ll be like, “Wow, a break.” But no, it’s y’all. The videos be like 20 25 minutes. So the these some long videos, but it’s because of you all’s questions. And I’m not complaining. That’s a good thing because it’s it’s y’all. Y’all make it what it is. Y’all make the channel exactly what it is. So I appreciate y’all uh like crazy. I do. Now with the videos, it is it’s a lot of work. It’s it’s a lot of work. Especially um I was talking to um this lady who does stuff with YouTube. Uh, and she’s like a um she does stuff with YouTube. Uh, when she was asking me about the channel and stuff and she was like, “Oh, um, just tell me about your channel.” Uh, and she’s like, “How often do you post?” And I said, “Usually every day.” So she was looking up and down the channel. She was like, “Every day.” And she’s like, “And this is long form content like so this is not no short videos and these like 20 25 minutes.” She said, “Wow, every day.” And I was thinking like, yeah, that’s it’s kind of crazy. It’s kind of crazy. It’s like like yesterday we playing on post, but we took yesterday off cuz I was I was getting burned out. I was getting burned. I’m good now. But yesterday I was like And then yesterday was super super super busy anyway. Was running around a lot. But um yeah, it’s it’s a lot of work, but it’s it’s I’m very appreciative to even be in this position to where this is something that we can do for work. Like this is our job. like this is it’s it’s a privilege, man. It’s a privilege that I’m very very grateful for. But it would not happen without y’all. Like I said, I could get on here, talk all day, every day, but if nobody comes through, if Team Keep it clean don’t come through, then I ain’t talking to nobody. So, thank you for real. Um, anyway, he said, uh, you always say this channel exists because of us, but don’t think about the fact that you take the time to look for all the information to give us. You’re the goat. Oh, no. we we ain’t no goat. But um yeah, that that is part of the process looking for all the information. It is. But um and I I think even with that uh something that I’ve just learned over the years, um accuracy is more important than the time like uh than timeliness. Is timeliness even a word? I think it is. But um having the information right is more important than having it first. Uh and that makes such a huge difference. And then I’ve learned that the hard way. Um but I’ve learned it. So um so thank y’all. Thank thank you all for being patient. Uh there can be sometimes when some breaking news happens and hey, we may not be the first to get a video out right away, but uh when we do talk about whatever it is, whatever breaking news or just regular news, whatever it might be with the Ravens, I appreciate y’all waiting and and watching the videos when they do come out. Uh the videos don’t always come out at the same time every single day. Uh but y’all still be coming through every single day on every single video. So, thank you for real. Now, with that being said, which I am very happy to announce because this literally never happens. We work extra hard this week to try to get this done, but um, this is our last email. All emails are cleared out. So, um, however the game goes, that’s going to be and I know some people like sending emails during the game, too. But, um, we ain’t got no more emails. So, we are all caught up. We never get to say ever get to say that. I think we might have said that maybe two times this entire football season, maybe. Um, so yeah, that that feels really really good to say. Anyway, let’s get into this last question from Derek. He said uh one early offseason prediction. Hey Raven, uh hope everything has been treating you and the family well. Appreciate you, Derek. I seen the last video. Great work uh to you by the way. I seen the conversation about Zay at the true wide receiver one and I don’t think there was a better way of putting it than you did. Appreciate that. Thank you. Um and what what what I had said in that um about Zay Flowers as a wide receiver one. Um he is Ravens I guess technically all wide receiver one but I I don’t think he can be a true wide receiver one to the fullest. Um and it’s only because of his his size limitations like he makes the plays and he get the opportunities for sure of a wide receiver one. He get the targets for sure like for he never getting getting shorted on targets. Um but it’s just a size and obviously you can’t do nothing about his size. That’s just genetics. Um that’s DNA. Uh so he gives you a lot. He really does. Um but just the with everything with Z Flowers, um he brings so much to the Ravens. Uh but there’s just that limitation. So if you need a jump ball and again Lamar been trying it recently a lot and TFL been getting up. They just ain’t been connecting all the way on those. They’ve been real close though. But um it’s just he can give you a lot but there’s some things that he can’t give you. And with those things that he cannot give you then it’s it’s impossible to change him because it’s all based on size. That’s it. Um he can run every route. He can catch. Of course he have his drops too. Well he can make some plays. Um but yeah that’s it. Just a size thing anyway. And then anyway, he said, uh, he definitely is giving us his all and like any human, he has mistakes, but for his size to see what he does is great for us. Yeah, shout out to Z Flowers, man. He said, now to the early offseason prediction. I could very well see the Ravens go and get Tyreek Hill to pair him up with Flowers and give Lamar Jackson the two speed receivers. H, that would be something right there. Uh, Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill is obviously a baller. Tyreek Hill, one of them guys. Tyreek Hill probably going to be cut from the Dolphins this off season. Um Tyreek K, he’s somebody else that’s small in stature. Uh but he’s he’s been a number one receiver uh with the Chiefs obviously and then with the Dolphins too and with him he he’s somebody that got everything to except size. But the way that he could get up like Zay Flag could get up now, but Tyreek he that boy could get up and um but uh he just outrun everybody. He he just outrun everybody. You would give him a show like cuz he he got some crazy agility, man. He really does. But he got that that speed, man. Like that real speed. Like Z Flowers got some good speed, but Tyreek Hill, he and I know he’s older now. Um but Tyreek Hill had excellent speed. Like crazy speed. Crazy speed. So it’s different. Um but yeah, but again, he got that agility, too. So yeah, that that would be something though. But at the same time, um, I would still want the Ravens and not just tight ends, but I would still want the Ravens to have a receiver, a taller receiver to compliment cuz I just with Lamar, I I just he he deserves it, man. He has deserved it for a long time, but he just hasn’t gotten it like that. With TZ Walker, that could be it, but Ravens don’t never play him. They don’t never have him out there like that. Um, but he, in my opinion, he just deserves a taller big frame wide receiver that is like like that. Like one of them guys like that. Like DeAndre Hopkins. Um, he he’s not even that tall, but he’s a he plays like it. He makes those contested catches. He’ll he would go up and get. Obviously, it would be better when he was younger. Um, but yeah, I wish I wish that could have happened. Yeah. But anyway, um, so yeah, but with I I I would just want Lamar to have that big frame wide receiver, but one that was just like a nasty, like a just a straightup dog, man. A baller. So anyway, he said, um, yeah, he said, I could very well see the Ravens going to get Tyreek Hill to pair him up with Flowers and give Lamar Jackson two speed receivers. Is Ty if Tyreek Hill stays healthy, what would you think of this duo? It would be fun. It’ll be fun. I would just um Yeah, I would just want somebody else to compliment them too to having that big frame because again with also with Tyreek Hill, he’s somebody since he’s low to the ground um he’s somebody else where it’s different with him because again he’s he he he’ll outrun everybody. He’ll outrun everybody. So Lamar ain’t never going to have no overthrow with no Tyreek Hill cuz that man like Yeah. Yeah, Lamar going to get it to him cuz Lamar with the deep ball, he could be on point, man. Um, and Tyreek Hill, he ain’t going to have to wait for the ball. He ain’t going to have to slow down for the ball. Like Lamar going to put it out there. Tyreek Hill, he going to be able to go get it. So that that would be fun to see. Um, and I think that he would definitely open up the offense, but yeah, I would still want that that big frame wide receiver, too. Uh, so whether they did that in the draft, whether they did it in, you know, if they got Tyreek Hill, they ain’t get no other receiver, no free agency. um whether they implemented tears more. But see, can we trust them to even implement tears more if they got a Tyreek Hill? I don’t think so. I don’t think so. But hey, how will this coaching staff be next year? Who will be our offensive coordinator next year? Cuz you know, Todd Monkey, I don’t think he going to be there, man. Really don’t. But so it’s so much questions that would impact it. But yeah, I wouldn’t mind a Tyreek K. But again, bottom line, I would still want a bigger frame wide receiver. Um, he said, “I would definitely,” oh, I didn’t read that. He said, “I would definitely rather have George Pickkins, but Ravens Tyreek Hill will be more realistic than George Pickins.” And you know what? That’s you will million% right. Um, because And it’s crazy to say, who would have thought that even two years ago, definitely three or four years ago, saying something like that would sound crazy like Tyreek Hill’s more real a more realistic option for the Ravens than George picking. We would have been like, “What? Huh. But Tyreek Hill a little older now coming off an injury and he would just have been released from his team. So that’s Ra that’s Ravens all day. Oh, you you just got cut from your squad. Oh, you you you just dealt with a significant major injury that you’re getting back from. Oh, and you’re older. Hey, come here, baby. Come on. But George Piggins, oh, you’re young. You a free agent. You entering the prime of your career. Yuck. Stay away. That’s how it really be, man. For I know all of y’all know exactly what I’m talking about. But anyway, I look forward to seeing y’all for the game tonight.
