"British sports streaming powerhouse DAZN is engaged in advanced negotiations to secure a majority stake in Main Street Sports Group, the largest operator of regional sports networks (RSNs) in the United States. They are known for running FanDuel Sports Network. This potential transaction represents a significant push by DAZN to bolster its footprint in the American market, where it has primarily focused on combat sports according to a report from the Wall Street Journal."
Theres other, unverified, reporting thats behind payrolls indicating that without the sale to DAZN, Main Street may go bankrupt and leave its 8 teams, including the Reds, in a lurch.

Ah, yes. The network known for quitting contracts in the middle of their deal with European club soccer leagues. Move over, frying pan.
Can this be over
I can only speak from my own experiences, but if DAZN does complete this acquisition, there’s zero chance I will be subscribing. I previously subscribed to DAZN for several months to watch boxing. When I went to cancel my subscription, they absolutely would not take no for an answer.
They did not have a way to cancel your subscription directly. You had to open a chat with support which in turn put you in touch with a retention specialist (which I expected). They went through their spiel and I said over and over “I understand the offer but I’m not interested. Please cancel my subscription.”
After about the 5th or 6th time through this I said look, I’m not changing my mind and I’m closing the chat now. If my subscription is not cancelled by next week, I will be contesting the charges with my bank. I checked back the next week and it was not cancelled. So I switched my method of payment to paypal and then revoked the payment authorization from the paypal site.
The stupid thing is, if they hadn’t done this, I probably would have resubscribed at some point to watch more boxing.
