I appreciate the sentiment and the loyalty. but it’s gonna take Team Izzo having $350M tucked between their sofa cushions to matter.

There was a family that had 3 kids dying of rare blood disease in early 2000’s. We called University of Michigan administrators to ask if they could donate a signed basketball with Tommy Amaker and all his players to raise money for the hospital expenses. UofM said no we don’t do this. I tried contacting Amaker directly with no luck.
We emailed Izzo. He responded immediately and he sent a basketball with his and his entire team signatures. That basketball raised $800 at the auction.

We saw the whole MSU BBall team at the PDX airport a few years ago. My wife being a big UM fan, and from Michigan, yelled “go blue!” at em and all he did was smile and laugh. Got mad respect for him after that.
