🚨Philadelphia Eagles Just Got MASSIVE NEWS After Winning NFC East🚨 Huge Eagles Injury News
All right, happy Sunday everybody. Let’s talk some Eagles on the road. This is Philadelphia Eagles now. My name is Chase Senior. As always, no matter where you are, how you’re tuned in, I appreciate you for making today’s show a part of your day. How great does this sound? The Eagles back-to-back NFC East champions. First time that a team has won back-to-back divisional titles in 21 years since the Eagles last did it in 2003 2004. Philadelphia’s playoff bound for the fifth consecutive year and at the very least they will be able to host a playoff game. Two games left against Buffalo on the road against Washington again at home at Lincoln Financial Field. Eagles still have an opportunity to potentially get the number one seed, although those chances are very slim, maybe even the two seed, but there’s a high percentage of a chance that the Eagles are locked into that number three spot. A lot to talk about on today’s show. We don’t need any graphics. We’re on the road talking Eagles because I just want to give you the best content possible. And I’ve been watching NFL games all day. The thoughts have been simmering. I’ve been sending out a lot of tweets on Instagram, on Tik Tok, and let’s start here. If you’re pumped up about the birds going backto back in the NFC East, going back to the playoffs, it’s a victory Sunday. I want you to hit that thumbs up icon and like the video. I want at least 1,000 likes here on the show. Let’s begin with some Eagles injury news. So, Philadelphia wins that game last night, approaching the 24-hour mark as we record this right now from when that game got underway. And this morning, Adam Shfter reporting that next week some really important reinforcements could be coming for the birds. Lane Johnson, who has missed four games with that Liz Frank injury to his left foot, expected to return against Buffalo. He warmed up with some of his fellow offensive linemen prior to the game yesterday against Washington. So that was a good sign. But he didn’t practice at all this past week in the leadup to that Washington game. Short week of course for the rest of the Eagles roster. But with him going through his pregame routine, that’s obviously a really good sign. And according to Sher, he’s going to play against a Buffalo team that has won four games in a row. They have 11 wins on the year going into 2025. A lot of people thought that Eagles Bills could be a potential Super Bowl matchup and it still very well could be. The Bills getting hot at the right time, Philadelphia getting hot at the right time, especially with their offense starting to find a groove. And so this is really the last litmus test and big challenge in tuneup to get ready for a potential Super Bowl run for both Buffalo and Philadelphia coming up in week 17. looking at the weather early and things can change hour by hour, day by day up in Buffalo, there could be some snow in the forecast. And of course, this time of year, late December, by the time that that kickoff takes place, it’s going to be very cold. And I’m really excited to see how the Eagles, after getting their confidence up, their morale up, finding a groove, finding an identity on offense fare against Buffalo. And then I want to see how this Eagles defense fares against Josh Allen. Now Josh Allen is in the MVP conversation. He has once again been tremendous this year. He’s making it work and he’s still absolutely elite with a lot of number two and number three caliber weapons. The Bills defense I don’t think is very good. And I think that’s what’s going to hold Buffalo back from winning a championship. And it’s kind of surprising because their head coaches Shawn McDermott who came up under Andy Reid was a defensive coordinator under Reed before he got fired. He’s been a really good head coach, but that defense in recent years and especially in big games has been a little bit lacking. So for Buffalo, for Philadelphia, really looking forward to seeing how both these teams look against legitimate competition for a tuneup going into the playoffs. Having Lane Johnson back obviously is massive for this Eagles offense. We have talked plenty about the win loss record when he’s on the field, when he’s off the field, and just how dominant he is as a pass protector on the front side of Jaylen Herz and in the run game as well. By the time that he went out, he was allowing the lowest pressure rate among all right tackles in the game. And Fred Johnson has done an admirable job filling in for him. And what a move by Howie Roseman right at the end of training camp, right at the end of the preseason to make that move for Johnson because he’s ended up playing a huge and critical role for this team with Lane Johnson out and then prior to that he was kind of in and out of the lineup because he was getting banged up. But let’s be real, he’s a serviceable backup and I hope that the Eagles can find a way to keep him longterm to continue to be the backup swing tackle because he can play left tackle and right tackle, but he’s not Lane Johnson. So big news on that front. Also on the injury front for the Eagles, Jaylen Carter, who all the way back in training camp did not start practicing at the start of camp due to a shoulder injury, which then got so bad and also led to issues in both shoulders. Had to get procedures on his left shoulder and his right shoulder. He’s missed the last couple of games. And according to Sher, same report, he’s expected to play against Buffalo as well. James Cook going into today, number two rusher in the NFL and Bill signing him to a contract extension this off season. Very welld deserved. The brother of Dvin Cook. Really speedy runner. Can catch the ball out of the back field. If there’s one concern and weakness for this Eagles defense, it’s how they fare against the run. Especially with what happened against the Chicago Bears, that dynamic running attack both play call-wise and scheme wise. They gave up 284 rushing yards to Ben Johnson’s offense. That was the last time that Jaylen Carter played against Dallas. Javvante Williams has had a good year. The Eagles also struggled against the run. So, at times this year, they’ve been good. Other times, they’ve been bad. I want to see how this Eagles rushing defense fares against a really good rushing offense for Buffalo. And just like with Lane Johnson, Jaylen Carter is one of the best overall players in the National Football League. You get him tuned up, you get him in shape, you get his feet wet again, you give him some snaps to get fine-tuned for the postseason as well. And that’s a big boost to a Vic Fangio defense that is certainly Super Bowl caliber and continues to play at an absolutely elite level. And depending on what happens in week 17, whether the Eagles win against Buffalo or they lose, Nick Serriani is going to be faced with a decision in week 18 on whether or not to rest or play some of his marquee players because they’re going to have a seed to fight for. There’s an opportunity. They could still be going after that number one seed after next week, potentially the number two seed. Will Philadelphia just say, “You know what? We’re cool with that number three seed. We’ll certainly see. So, Lane Johnson, Jaylen Carter, injury news. Then Devin Kaney, who has done a fantastic job as the Eagles sideline reporter for 94 WIP. Got to give her her flowers and her props filling in for Howard Eskin, who obviously unceremoniously got let go. And Devin Kaney has been an upgrade. She dropped this nugget this morning that when she interviewed Jordan Davis postgame last night after Philadelphia pulled away from Washington, Jordan Davis said that Nico Dean’s hamstring injury is minor and it’s a blessing that it’s a minor injury and it’s not expected to be longterm. When Nico went out and he’s been playing at a Pro Bowl level ever since Vicio inserted him as the starter, you’re like, man, ruled out with the hamstring, soft tissue, quick twitch. Obviously, when you think about that type of injury, it can linger a little while. Jordan Davis, Nico, the Georgia connection, they’re best friends in the locker room. I think Jordan Davis obviously has a pretty good idea what the injury status is for Nico Dean. So for him to say that that this injury isn’t that major for Nico, that is big for this Eagles defense, too. So recapping everything on the injury front, Lane Johnson, Jaylen Carter coming back. Nico Dean injury not believed to be serious according to Jordan Davis. Pretty good source right there. Appreciate Devin Kenny for dropping that on X this morning from that postgame interview with Jordan Davis. And speaking of Jordan Davis, six tackles yesterday, two TFLs, his impact going beyond just the stat sheet. He was blowing up plays time and time again. He had said once Jaylen Carter got hurt, it’s up to him, Mororrow, everybody else to step up. He’s elevated his game, but this year, I think he’s been playing at an allp pro level. It’s incredible what can happen when you fully dedicate yourself to improving your craft and getting in shape. Sometimes at defensive tackle, it can take players a little while to develop. Happened with Fletcher Cox, happened with Chris Jones. Sometimes these guys aren’t immediate impact players. And for Jordan Davis, he had to get into shape. He was 66 340 coming out of Georgia, but he wasn’t a three-own player. He’s developed into a three-own player and a superb three-own player at that. Um, okay. So, that’s everything on the injury front. By the way, uh, don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. I’m bringing you daily Philadelphia Eagles coverage right here on Eagles Now. I want you to have a voice. So, if all that sounds great and you’re enjoying the show here today as I’m rolling in the Tesla self-driving hands-free device, lock us in. Hit that subscribe button right now. Other things that I want to get to here. The Eagles have beaten up on the Raiders and the Commanders in back-to-back weeks. And I’ve talked about this. I think it’s really important for the Eagles to do what they’ve done the last two games primarily on the offensive side of the ball. They needed to find a groove. They needed to find a rhythm. They needed to find out what worked, what didn’t. They needed to find an identity. They needed to get back to being a balanced offense. And they needed to find a way to get the run game successful again. And I think in the last two games, the Eagles have been able to check off all of those boxes, which is huge for this team going into the postseason. And I know that it’s the Raiders. I know that it’s Washington, right? But when an offense can accomplish these things, it gives you momentum and confidence going into the playoffs. And it gives you a sense as far as game planning and execution what you can do, what you can’t do. And so I really like what this Eagles offense has been able to accomplish the last two games. And now we’ll get to see how they fare against Buffalo for a final playoff tuneup. And last night, I had said this on the postgame show, that game really reminded me of a game from last year for the Eagles where maybe early it’s a little bit close. Majority of games at the NFL level are a one-sore ball game in the fourth quarter. But then as the game wears on, the Eagles are like a boa constrictor. They wear the opposition down. They suffocate you. And then with their talent, with their depth, and their physicality, they pull away late. They have some explosive plays. They take your will and they get the run game going and they slice and dice you with some of those big plays. We saw that yesterday which was very reminiscent of what the Eagles did last year, especially some of the long Saquon Barkley and Tank Bsby runs that has been missing from this Eagles team this year which is why they’ve played in all of these close games that come down to the wire in the fourth quarter. So, I like what the Eagles are establishing there as well. I also want everybody to just savor and appreciate what the Eagles are doing right now and what the Eagles are accomplishing as an organization. This is arguably the best stretch in franchise history. Two Super Bowls in three years. They have made it to the playoffs now in five consecutive years. from owner Jeffrey Lurri to general manager Howey Roseman to head coach Nick Serriani to the players on the roster, the coaching staff, the organization as a whole, we are witnessing a really special run and a really special era of Philadelphia Eagles football and I want everybody to just admire and appreciate that right now. And going back to kind of what I was alluding to when everybody was saying, “Oh, it’s just the Commanders and it’s the Raiders.” To me, I think that’s ignorant and that’s a casual way to look at what the Eagles have done this year. We’re talking about the defending Super Bowl champions. Put some respect on their name. Think about what it requires to go on a playoff run last year, win a Super Bowl, have a shortened off season in the city of Philadelphia, have these types of expectations, which the players and the coaches have talked about a lot recently, and to still pull off what they’ve done this year. This Eagles schedule in 2025 has been an absolute gauntlet. They have played 11 teams that were playoff teams last year. They have had five short week games. And despite that, they still win the division for the second consecutive year. They’re playoffbound. They’re peing at the right time. And they’ve got an opportunity to win a Super Bowl. Once again, there is not a team across the entire NFL that has the resume that the Eagles have this year as far as how hard the schedule is, one of the hardest in the NFL, some of the short weeks, difficult opponents, and the level of opponents that the Eagles have beaten. going on the road and beating Kansas City. Going on the road and beating Tampa Bay, coming back against the Los Angeles Rams, going on the road and beating Green Bay, beating the Detroit Lions at home. Even the Dallas Cowboys have been a pretty competitive team this year. Philadelphia handled them. Um, the body of work for this team, very impressive. And with this offense starting to find a groove paired with this defense and this special teams unit, which hopefully Jay Kelly can get his figured out, there’s not a team in the NFC that wants to take on Philadelphia. So, put some respect on the Eagles names and understand that what they’ve done this year with this schedule with a shortened off season after winning a Super Bowl, which is a mental, physical, and spiritual toll, very impressive. The last thing I want to talk about here is Commander head coach Dan Quinn. Remember when the Eagles went for two after the Tank Bsby touchdown run last night and the fight happened? Darius Cooper got involved and then of course Fred Johnson and Tyler Steen were in the mix and Tyler Steen took on like six different Commanders players. Well, it turns out that some of the Commanders players took exception with Nicksi going for two there to make it a 29-10 game at that point. I believe Nick Serriani went for two, which was the right decision to officially put this game on ice and to officially win this game for the Eagles. And Dan Quinn said after the game, if that’s how they want to play, that’s how they want to play. We’ll see him again in week 18. What a loser mentality. What a stiff. What a fraud Dan Quinn is. Dan Quinn when his team was down 21-10 with six plus minutes to go decided to punt the football away to the Eagles pretty much conceding and waving the white flag. And he’s going to have the gall to complain about Nick Serriani going for two when mathematically and coaching wise, game management wise, it made sense to do that to officially end the ball game. That’s high level coaching for Nick Serriani compared to bad coaching, bad strategy, and bad game management from Dan Quinn. The other thing is Dan Quinn said that after the game hours later, the Chicago Bears had a 0.4% chance of beating the Green Bay Packers before that onside kick. Then the Bears recover that onside kick. They end up winning the game in overtime. You never know in the NFL when a game is over. We have seen crazy epic comebacks. On Thursday night, the Rams were up 15 points in the fourth quarter and they lost. Nick Serriani said, “I’m not taking any chances. We’re going for two. We’re ending this ball game.” You never know when a team can come back. that game on Thursday night. Seattle gets the punt return. Snowball effect from there. Bears recover that onside kick. Snowball effect from there. So Nick Serriani made the right choice. If Washington has a problem with it, stop it. But this is a lack of ball knowledge from Dan Quinn that I think is a loser mentality and absolute weak sauce. All right, I’m going to enjoy the rest of this late afternoon window watching some NFL football, Sunday night football tonight. Patriots, Ravens, big game in the AFC. Looking forward to watching Drake May go up against Lamar Jackson. Leave a comment down below. Don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. Just wrapping 19 minutes. Wanted to talk birds on my way home. Doing it in a safe manner. Of course, we’re not Brandon Iayuk out here going over 100 miles per hour and filming it while passing Levi Stadium, which is where the NerS play. I will catch you tomorrow. Couple of videos to come on Eagles now. Even though it’s Christmas week, the coverage going to be humming all week long. Eagles Bills this upcoming week going to be a good one. We’ll talk soon. See you. Go Bears.

We want the eagles beat the bills
I don’t even want Philadelphia playing their starters.
Buffalo is not a winning culture. Winning cultures do whatever they need to do to win. Including paying the hefty price for fresh sod every home game. If you’re playing indoors, field turf is acceptable, but no outdoor football team should be using field turf. Chief among those the northern football teams. Seattle, Buffalo, New England, and Cincinnati are the 4 northern clubs outside on artificial grass. All 4 have injury concerns. All 4 made the business decision of using turf to save money. The eagles were one of the teams who played on an artificial turf. But Lurie listened to his players. The Eagles use Bermuda grass till thanksgiving and Kentucky bluegrass after thanksgiving. Bermuda grass is the safest grass for football, but it doesn’t handle cold weather well. So when Philadelphia gets colder they bring in a different playing surface that’s still plenty safe but can handle the cold better. That’s Kentucky bluegrass. The packers and Steelers and redskins for ages were married to Kentucky bluegrass. They’re winning organizations who play in cold weather and give their players the safest conditions to play on.
Which going to any stadium that doesn’t have winning in their blood, most of them are turf teams whose ownership went with the more affordable option.
Buffalo bills play football on a field made from recycled garbage. The turf is made from water bottles and the gaps are filled with cut up rubber from used tires. And indoors or down south, this works. You take this up north in the cold, it’s bad! And worse, if there’s any snow? That’s an even bigger concern. The eagles would be stupid to risks the health of their players by doing a game that doesn’t matter too much, with the slim possibility that we increase our seeding. The playoffs are 20 days away. It’s not smart for us to be taking unnecessary risks this close to the playoffs. If we were playing on grass? Sure go ahead! Not turf in the cold! That’s for teams whose ownership went don’t want their players healthy for playoffs.
As of today it will be 47 degrees and rain maybe.
Let’ peak for the playoffs!
The Commanders were mad because the Birds didn't give them a chance to come back!?!?! What sense does that make?
So the MASSIVE news is they play Buffalo next week….. K….🙄🙄🙄
Your in Fort Worth
Go Birds 🦅
The Eagles victories over the Raiders and Commanders showed they were able to arrest a 3 game slide and mount a credible offense and defense — against a couple of teams with losing records. There's not enough evidence to say they are peaking at the right time. And since the Eagles may not have anything to play for next week, against a worthy opponent, we may not know if they're a playoff caliber team until the playoffs.
Josh Allen may be Hurt a little
You are an IDIOT!!!! Driving in traffic while doing this report. This is unsafe. You care nothing about the people in vehicles around you! Hopefully someone in law enforcement will issue you a ticket, and a judge will remove your license to drive.
if it is so important get off the road. stop endangering other drivers and people by trying to film a segment and drive at the same time!
Loving the videos
Everything Chase releases is worth watching. He wouldn’t do it if not.
lol. We were up 21-0 and saw what happened 😅
I'm a huge eagles fan so I just want to thank you for keeping us updated with the eagles your videos are always appreciated but I do have one question because I've never heard anybody refer to themselves as senior like every video now you always introduce yourself as Chase senior and I get it you want people to know that you have a son who's named after you but I've just never heard anybody refer to themselves like that it's like when people give themselves nicknames nobody should ever give themselves a nickname they call the nickname because your friends or other people somebody always gives you your nickname nobody should ever have to pick their own nickname it's just like when people call your son Junior it's because you two have the same name and they don't want to get them mixed up but seeing as you're the first one people are automatically going to know who you are just by saying Chase putting the senior after it is just making it way too extra LOL sorry like I said I've never seen anybody refer to themselves like that who is a senior because they have their son with the same exact name as them which is obviously Junior I guess my point is there's no point in to pointing out that you are a senior, lol. I mean as you can tell I'm bored and have nothing else to do but this just catches my ear wrong every time I want your videos thank you man thanks for the good videos keep up the good work
West Chester?
Havertown over here
Rock on
C’mon man, it’s totally careless to drive while making your podcast. AND this is not MASSIVE NEWS. That’s overstated for the sake of clickbait. I like your summaries and analysis but please do better with the podcast production detail.
Raiders almost beat The Houston Texans earlier. It's The NFL. Anything can happen
