Nothing else to say

  1. Damn, I’ve commented a few times it felt like we lost every scenario that mattered…turns out, we actually did. Everyone is hot at the end of the year, except us.

  2. The universe is beating into our heads it’s not happening and it never will. Maybe after 10 years we’ll listen and realize 9-8, 8-9, begging for other teams to win for us is not the way to do things.

  3. The amount of just hysterical things that have all happened to send this season off the rails… just incredible.

  4. That’s what happens when you’re not good enough to control your own destiny. I’m sure if we give Ballard another decade though, he’ll get it fixed.

  5. Fans on the Colts forum swear we should run it back again. It’ll be different next year!

*Morgan Freeman narrator voice* “It won’t be any different next year”

  6. Playing around with the playoff machine.

Basically the Colts do not control their own destiny because of today.

If the Colts win out they need one of two things to happen:

They need the Texans to lose to the Chargers next weekend

    OR

They need the chargers to lose at the broncos Week 18.

  7. I spent all season thinking the Broncos were frauds and overrated. As soon as I start to think they are legit and need them to take care of Jax, they lose by the same score as a Colts team without DJ lost to Jax by. Man, wtf.

Colts gotta win out just to possibly get a wildcard spot. Welp.

  8. It’s simple, but not easy (on the Colts side):

    – Colts beat 49ers and Jags

    – Texans lose to Chargers

RESULT: Week 18 is for the wild card (Texans vs Colts)

It’s funny how chargers and colts are always intertwined. Each team will be rooting for the other (Chargers want Colts to beat Jags, Colts want Charger to be Texans)

  9. Hey as a ND fan I just watched this play out over the last 3 weeks of their season too. How lucky am I to experience this with my NFL team too?! I love football! Whoo hoo!

  10. From 7-1 to probably not even in the playoffs. A new low point.

I don’t see how Ballard and Steichen keep their jobs after this.

  11. Houston on their own 7 yard line. 3rd & 20. And Vegas gives us the all time dumbest pass interference.

  12. This shit is wild, we gotta help ourselves first but it’s unreal how much has gone against us the last month and a half. It almost feels like destiny at this point lol😭

  13. If the Colts don’t win out in these next three games, they wouldn’t be very competitive in a playoff game anyway. I wish we were in the AFC North this season.

  14. The colts need to try winning a damn game. They are 0-4 since the bye. They shouldve been 3-1 in that stretch

  15. Funny, I opened reddit to complain about how it feels exactly this has happened. I didn’t know it was this bad. Absolutely catastrophic ending to this season

  16. Usually 10-7 would easily win the AFC South except for this year. lol Colts have to win out and even then have some help. For the Colts to win out against 3 playoff contenders in a row would be tough even if a young Peyton Manning or Luck was playing QB.

Worse thing is that Ballard will be using the injured QB excuse as a ploy to stay on for yet another season when in fact teams had already figured out how to defend Jones and Steichen’s offense starting with the Steelers game when Jones was still healthy and Colts had no answer in the following games except they managed to barely beat the lowly Falcons in OT for their only win since that Steeler game.

  17. I don’t want them to move on cause they aren’t winning and it’s a worst draft pick why would you want that

  18. This is why just winning matters. Relying on other outcomes to fall the right way will eventually bite you in the ass. I get that this is historic but it wouldn’t matter at all if they had just won a couple games that they lost.
