Golden Knights vs. Oilers | NHL Highlights | December 21, 2025
time we saw the Oilers and the Golden Knights,
it was Caspberry Kan’s night to shine. It was finishing off the Vegas Golden Knights in the
second round last year. Good save with that blocker off the shot by March. His first game as
an Evans are important for him to feel that puck early. Hasn’t started the game in eight days.
His last outing in the American Hockey League. Bad news, he gave up seven goals. Good news is he
won 8-7 in overtime. Here’s Tao. Chris shot Ros almost welcoming himself back right off the hop
and termed last night a disappointment to be kind and wants Vegas on the blocks tonight. Another
tough save made by Carter Hardest. Kaden Corac for the Golden Knights does not get out. Regula
to Conor McDavid who entered the day and a tie for the league lead and scored. Djonopkins to nurse
in front. Tipped off the post by Iman and Carter Hart’s able to come up with it in his last nine.
And even on these first couple shifts, you can tell he’s feeling it again. Nurse tries to stuff
it inside. McDavid comes up and throws it toward the net. Spirited scrap last year when Lison
was a member of the National Predators. Well, most of the spirit was in 92 favor. that’ll hang
around and hope to win close at the end. Golden Knights are minus five in terms of Golden first
two periods. Shot coming from Hurdle and that was deflected up on the plexi. However, they’re plus
13 in the third. Hurdle shoots off the post for Hannah and now Hurdle. Hipan gives it up in tight
dished off trying to go upstairs that was swatted down. Came back to him. He’ll protect Dorafia
trying to center. Broken up by Yanmar. Here’s Mner with 15 seconds on the penalty to Mapani. Stone
quick shot. Hurdle missed the net. Rebound up on the glass. Handled by Hannneathan. Sent along by
Dorafia. Stone the captain in tight and Hurdle denied by Ingram. Rebound Hannneathan. Swamp
shot. Dorafia. McDavid sent. Having said that, Vegas is right in the Pacific Division Hunt
once again. McDavid knocked off balance, gives it up, and Dry’s one-time stopped
by Carter Hart. Good save. He got that away pretty quickly. The guy for me, too,
is Carlson for the Vegas Golden Knights. He’s just such an important player for this
team. The way he not only plays offensive, he’s just a shut down matchup guy for Bruce
Cast and put him out there against anybody in the league. They miss him as well. Here’s Tricova.
McDavis, it’s tight. drives through and scores. Point streak contend. Goal number 23. One
nothing Edmonson. David flying right now. It is incredible. He gets ahead of Steve, he is
just attacking. And once he gets that puck on his stick and makes his mind up and he’s going to
drive this puck to the net. Good luck trying to slow him down. I mean, look how he just pumps into
high gear. gets the puck on his McDavid from dry side. His 23rd time 911. Eugen Hopkins across to
Roselik. His shot shoulder to side by Carter Hart and he’s just going to dial it up again. And the
penalty to draw set to expire David beat through the defense fall off and he’s drawn a penalty
which will put Edmonson up on the power play. Vegas number 17. Two-minute minor penalty looking.
You’re not containing them. You’re just hoping right now. One- nothing ever. Pretty mediocre last
year at 75%. Bottom third of the league. This year they’re up to 82% seventh in the league. But turn
back one timer and tries to scored in his last seven. Stopped. Rebound. Bousard. McDavid
fires right off the path of Carter Hart. Nan Hopkins back to Leon Dryson who hasn’t
scored in this last seven. Nan Hopkins to McDavid. No shot. Tried to slip it down low to
Hyman. Booard to McDavid. Try subtle. Back door. Score. N Hopkins gets the finish. What a look from
Duttle. Power play goal. The Oilers are on the deuce. We’re seeing this a lot this year for Nan
Hopkins. He’s had a real knack for getting himself to that spot on time. Look at this back door.
Nobody sees him coming and he’s in stealth mode, but he gets himself to the spot. You present
that target. Look at that look from Dry Settle. Great job for the work of the camera. And the
reason Minnesota’s not Louis is they’ve got the best goalending in the league right now. Here’s
Ken Kasar dropping from Martner is shot off the rush. Guide into the corner by Conor Ingram.
Dart that was to then back around to nervous. Evansson’s been sharp, but Coulson fires across
as a backhander and that almost ended up in Paul McFarland operating the Oiler power play this
year with a departure of Glen Gullson. A shot off the ropes by out by Hannah. McDavid snuck
back briefly had the puck on his stick again gathered by Stone then turned over. McDavid’s
loose. Beautiful move back by Carter Hart. Nan Hopkins dry mentioned seven game dry spell
between goals. Nan Hopkins dry redirected on net. The save made by Hart now centers McDavid
back score. That’s two for Nan Hopkins and a three-point night already for Conor McDavid.
Three nothing Edison. Vegas has been rocked. Their special teams have been excellent this season,
but this is just too good. Lots of movement, lots of chances for Eton. They just keep funneling
pucks to the net. It’s Dre short side, follows it up with a little backhand through. This one gets
right through onto the stick of Conor McDavid. He freezes everybody. You can see Carter Hart has to
extend out. Thinks the shot’s coming from Tricle. Three more assists tonight. He’s got 22 points
in his last 10. Loose stick on the ice. Dorafia circling. Getting through Echol walking up top.
No shot. One-time kick down against White Cloud. Rebound chipped up. Here’s Dorafia walking
in. They’re going to say on that dry side feed across that it caught him skate. Is that
correct or Here’s her who we’re hearing. Yeah, that’s what we’re hearing. We’ll keep an
eye on it as Smith inside the moment that glanced off the side of the net. And it can
be tough at times to look good on a club like that. Here’s New Hopkins breaking out with
Nurse. Nurse center back in four nothing. on the doorstep. Shot pass the Heyman.
Guess who this time? It’s Hyman again. Good outlet out of the zone. Threeon two
develops with Darnell Nerks on the rush and right here threads the needle
through onto the tape behind and a great job by him to bring this from the
forehand to backand. Good stop in front by Nan Hopkins. Doesn’t carry through. No
going against one of their arch rivals. How about Vegas? 30 minutes in last night down
51. Shot lockered away by Ingram against McNab. Trying to get back watching for the net. McDavid
hits the trailer. New gets denied for the hattick against Marter Hart. Here’s McDavid in tight.
New gets stopped and swinging a miss by Hinden as well. Gets an extra attack on. That’s Martner.
Here’s Keegan Kasaw. Banged off the wall. Sisons up top. Corsac saucer across a shot. The save made
by Connor Ingram. And for the fourth time tonight, the Vegas Golden Knights. I was just thinking
about that before the game. It happens fast, but sometimes in that situation, the focus is
there and it’s obviously there. Hurdle shoots and scores top left corner. Not much Ingram
could do there. That was target practice. So Tomomas Hurdle gets Vegas on the board with
its first goal in four power play opportunities here through a screen and this is the third one
that he’s had on the power play from the slot for Bousard. He tries to go down and block this
but in the process probably takes the eyes away a little bit. Credit Hurdle. He picks this corner.
He missed one earlier on. Ingram stopped him on another one. And then this one here he puts this
right in the place he had to. It’s a quick spin. And I don’t think anywhere in the Orioles DNA
sitting back does not work. Here’s a shot to dribble through loose in the blue paint and
tug out of there. Decides not to call that one. Tip back to Hannah off the draw. Guess
we’re subjective in this one tonight. Arner slides to his left. Can a one-time receive rebound
score Dora FV another power play goal. The Golden Knights within 42 with his 15. Yeah, he’s been
around it in this one. He’s had some chances. We just saw the shot earlier on that was saved
by got a big piece of it, but he’s always around that spot. And it’s Mner once again that sets
things up. Hannifan with the blast. This is a nice backhand to forehand by Dora Vivv. This
rebound comes hard to him on the backhand side. He quickly brings it to the forehand and puts it in
the open net. Not a whole lot of chance for Ingram on that one. Lift it ahead to Her Mner around the
boards to Stone. Remember the Orioles finished in third place last year. Oh, bounce off a skirt
trying to go back door. It’s in 43. Game on. And this results in this goal. And it’s Mner once
again down deep in this one. This pass attempted to go back door. Goes off a skate. Hurdle spins
and just throws this one back into the green. First one denied. He spins on the backhand
side and Marner quickly gets to that spot, tucks it home. They’re going
to see right onto the stick. Regul the right hand side for Matt Soul. tied up
right wing boards. Andrew Maple a shot to save rebound hard still loose behind him. He had no
idea. Try subtle will try to tie him up. Hurdle won it for a field back. It’s blocked to Edmonson.
Hands on his debut. 28 saves. It’s Edmonton

Well not what I expected out of Conner Ingram lol
why does connor mcdavid's goals all look alike 🤕
I love this! Despite every effort by the referees to give Bettmann's darlings, the Vegas Golden Knights, yet another undeserved win, the Oilers were able to withstand the pressure and hang on for the win.
Oiler’s defence was soo friggen wonky in th second and third period. Thank god they held out
Dave is killing it. He makes it look like ODR hockey
