JR couldn’t believe what he saw in the Blackhawks locker room…
When I got to Chicago, I I I was not that type of player. >> Okay. >> I was a very passive. I was 160 pounds. Um I was definitely intimidated. I walked into the Chicago Blackhawks locker room the first time when I was 18 years old. I should have been in high school actually because I left after my junior year. So I should have been sitting in class with Tony Monty at the >> Yeah. Yeah. Right. >> Instead Yeah. instead I walk into uh the Blackhawks locker room and see Al Cord naked and I’m like this is not what I signed up for. >> This isn’t high school. >> I’ve never seen a grown man naked look like that in my life. I mean he was ripped up. He had so much hair on him. He had a beard. He had a cut. He had a receding hairline. No teeth. And I’m like, “Oh my god, the what what did I just get myself
What he saw shocked him — and set the tone for what it meant to play in one of the NHL’s most intense locker rooms.

One of the best! If the Chicago players had his heart today they’d be almost unbeatable ! Loved watching him play!
If Tony was that type of player he would have won a Cup with the NYR !
When he showed up in L.A., he was 20 lbs. overweight and obviously looking for exposure to the communication industry-esp. radio broadcasting. In Chicago, he had posted one of the hardest slapshots in NHL recorded history. I guess L.A. is just meant to take on all the hard cases. Jeremy later went to San Jose-where he also revitalized/returned to life!
How did his acting career turn out?
