Yeah, just again uh you know we feel like we’re in playoff mode now is just find a way to win a football game. It wasn’t obviously wasn’t the prettiest way we can win. Um got some stuff to clean up, but we’ll we’ll take a victory. >> What happened to the second quarter? You guys are smoking and then it just all it all went away. What happened? Well, they get they get paid too on that side to make adjustments and and make plays. And you know, I feel like um starting with me just didn’t make enough plays, especially in that second half. Um taking the boneheaded sack there at right before half, not giving it giving us a chance to double dip. So, um a lot of stuff to clean up, lot lot to learn from, but we’ll take it. >> On that play, what what happened and how did you get injured on that or whatever? >> Yeah, just tweaked my foot a little bit. Um just flamed up on me a little bit. pain subsided so we’re we’re good. >> Did you feel like the injury impacted you at all in the second half? >> No, I don’t think so. >> On the uh the drops touchdown, what was the I mean, it was wide open. I understand that, but the quarterback sneaks were pretty good for you guys for a long time. Why did you do that? >> Well, if I remember correct, it was fourth and two. Those are typically tough to get um getting a sneak. So, um anytime it’s longer than really one, you you’re kind of holding on to yourself there. So, um, I love the play call. Play was there and, um, you know, I can get it get it out to him a little bit quicker and, um, yeah, we know we know what happens there. So, it’s it’s all good. >> You guys weren’t able to run the ball as well in the second half, especially on early downs. What would you attribute, too? >> Uh, they were making plays. Um, you know, they, you know, found, uh, something that was working for them and, um, you know, at the end of the day though, last drive knew they knew we were running it. we had to run it and we did and got the first. >> What did you see on that Dalton play? It looked like he made a a great catch. Um obviously it wasn’t rule a catch, but what did you see on that play and what work? >> Yeah, manto man. Um throw him a fade. Um yeah, I mean close one. Those are, you know, game of football, game of inches. So, uh you know, we we know we’ll make these plays and um you know, I got to continue to keep throwing them and giving our guys opportunities. What what can you say about the offensive line pretty much keeping Miles Garrett neutralized in this one? >> Yeah, they they did fantastic. The game plan going into it, you know, getting some hands on him early, giving him different looks. Um, so that’s a credit to the the offensive staff and our offensive line. >> You mentioned the sack earlier, Josh. Was that just maybe trying to do too much in that that instance? >> 100%. Yeah, just throw it away. >> What was your reaction to James long touchdown run? >> I mean, it’s unbelievable. I threw my hand up early, then I put it down. I was like, “Oh, he’s tackled.” Then I put it up um again after he ran. I mean, he’s he’s the best back in in in football. Um you know, I I don’t know how awards shake out, but I mean, he should be in the running for for every award. He’s a he’s an absolute stud. Um we love having him and he makes our offense go. >> You guys tried to make the play to put it away, and then it was the defense. Tell me about what you saw from your your own defense at the end of the game. >> Yeah, I mean, we’ve seen it time and time again throughout the year. Um having to go out there and and make a play. um and they continue to do it. So, it’s it’s obviously great to see that out there and um those guys getting getting after the quarterback. >> There was a third down to Khalil that looked like it would have gone for a lot of yards. Was that was there a miscommunication there or was that just an >> over throw? >> Yeah, just missed the throw. >> Going back to the defense, your just watching Greg kind of take over in that situation. >> Yeah, it’s awesome. I mean, anytime, you know, you’re coming off the sideline, you’re you’re kind of ticked off that, you know, you didn’t finish the game in your own hands and how you wanted to do it. Um but then you know opportunities for our defense to go out there and make plays and um you know get those reps and show how good of a defense they are. So it’s it’s great to know that we we’ve got a defense that can go out there and do that and make big plays when uh when they need to. >> Bring up the turnovers whenever you make them and then don’t bring them up when you don’t make them. How how important is that to be able to go on the road and not turn the ball over even when you’re struggling offensively knowing that you’re not making >> I mean yeah it’s it’s awesome. Um, you know, I consider fourth downs turnovers. I don’t know if it’s an official turnover, but you know, we didn’t get didn’t get one. Um, we should have got on the third down. Again, that’s that was on me, but um, anytime that we don’t score, we feel like it’s a let down for us. We have that type of mindset. We’ve got the guys that are are more than capable to go out there and score on every drive. Um, obviously that’s not extremely realistic uh, week in and week out, but that’s that’s our mindset. every time we we step on the field, we want to score touchdowns and um you know, we got to do a better job of that. >> But again, this another game where you really didn’t get anything from your wide receiver. Is this a thing, you know, it’s happening week after week at some point? Is that going to come up? >> Again, we’re going to keep working. Um you know, I can help put our guys in better situations and and give them better opportunities. Um, but again, anytime you can run the ball with James Cook and with the success that we were having early, that’s uh, you know, we’re going to continue to do that and it’s going to open things up. So, just got to keep keep trusting it. >> Thank you guys. >> Thanks,
