2. JJ McCarthy getting hit on blind side is not a can't stay healthy issue. Thats a protection break down, full stop. Any QB hit like that Mahomes, Burrow, Allen get smoked like that there is real chance they leave the game. That is physics, not fragility. JJ's value is not measured by one busted coverage in the game. It is measured by decision making, growth, command and long term trajectory.

7. I wont write off JJ until after next year. Look at Caleb Williams in year two. Caleb is much improved now. JJ needs one more year to put it together. Our offense line has issues so you cant blame the QB fully. Injuries happen and mulitple ones can happen. He is 22 and he can and will improve. You want to assess JJM’s performance by removing 3 dropped passes, but of course you said nothing about adjusting his performance to the negative side by saying if the 2nd interception that resulted in a PICK6 wasn’t called back for the penalty then JJ would have had TWO interceptions in the 1st half and a lower QB rating that 58.0! Maybe, it is time to listen to the people who had it correct from day #1, and not the people who live in a fantasy world thinking everything KOC & Kwesi does is a Devine intervention from God! It was obvious to me that DESPITE Jefferson’s 4-6 in the 1st half, the two JJ’s aren’t on the same page and haven’t been all season, and Jefferson was 2-2 in the 2nd half and looked like the old Jets! Brosmer finished with a 90.7 QB rating (despite only being permitted to throw 9 passes) to JJM’s 58.0 QB rating. If Brosmer had spent all season getting 1st team reps his performance would likely be better, and if they called more passing plays Jets would have caught more passes in the 2nd half! Patrick, you need to wake up! That was a 2 win team with ZERO offense that will likely have the #1 draft pick, and Vikings barely beat them! You are delusional if you think that JJM is going to develop into a top 15 QB by next season! The only thing he can do is rush for an occasional TD which isn’t a recipe for success in the NFL, and SD who the Vikings let go was capable of the same thing. Again, JJM’s moderate success the past two weeks was against the Cowboys who have the worst pass defense in the league and the Commanders who are a horrible team. The sad thing is that JJM will most likely be spared the humiliation from having to play the remaining more competent teams!

37. Yes, this year is a disaster, and the future isn’t good as they have destroyed the cap and the Vikings under Kwesi & KOC have been arguably the worst drafting team in the NFL! Kwesi, and KOC need to go, but that isn’t likely as the team is a business for the Wilf’s, and firing these two self proclaimed Einstein’s isn’t good financially! Other than Mendoza the upcoming draft isn’t good for QB’s, and there is no move that will get the Vikings back on track to compete for a Super Bowl after winning 14 games last season. So the Vikings need to start the rebuild by getting rid of as many expensive contracts and FA as possible. Then they need to fire KOC & Kwesi after next season when the QB prospects are going to be much better. Maybe they can successfully suck next season to be in line to draft a top QB?

If it’s non contact, or just normal tackles that always injure sure… but with how hard JJ has been hit this season it’s understandable… people aren’t making as big of a fuss about Jayden Daniel, and his have been lighter causes to his injuries.
