Asking this silly question on behalf of a friend- she noticed the barriers in the front row tonight – are they new tonight? My husband and I cannot remember if they have been there the previous home game

They are new this season. In this [Delta Center Transformation](https://youtu.be/wpVDGVsX7Ck?si=91YonExfNLx362nH) video you can see them switching between basketball and hockey games. During hockey the sections are steeper especially on the end sections.
