As a MIL fan, this edit got me kinda hype and had me wondering… how do you guys feel about GA potentially being a Timberwolf?

Id be geeked but sad to see Jaden leave. Obviously you do that trade if it’s on the table though.
I’d love to see it, but I don’t know what we could offer that’d make sense for the Bucks.
That trade would crush the depth of the timberwolves. Honestly I’m not for it
How do I feel about having 2 top 5 players on the same team? I yearn for it. Would I miss mcdaniels? Absolutely.

I don’t think I like what our remaining roster would look like. It is a super star league but what we would give up would be too much.
I’d like Randle to try it this season. He seems trying to prove himself at least. If this still does not work, then do the trade next season!

3-team trade idea:
Wolves get Giannis and Gary Trent Jr
Bucks get James Harden and Julius Randle
Clippers get DDV, Conley, and Dilly
I have no idea what would incentivize the Clippers to do this, maybe a 4th team could help buffer somewhere?
Top 25 all time player still in his prime coming to the Wolves?
Wolves sub- I wouldn’t even trade our bench depth
Just not feasible after the Gobert trade a few years back. It would be, at minimum, Randle, McDaniels, and picks, and we would probably need to include a lot more. Just not a good trade partner fit.
There would be no team left after the trade beside Ant and GA and role players
You’d have to trade Randle, McDaniels, Naz (a bunch of good players) to get him cause the Wolves have no draft picks to swap
And if I’m Milwaukee I’m trading GA to a team that can give me quality picks and players whether that’s Houston or ATL or other places
Just not worth depleting your roster

The bench would get even more thin that it already is.
I think it’d take something like this, assuming the Bucks want to rebuild with younger players (that’s why no Randle). Still looks not enough for him though.
***IF*** they were to accept something like this, we’d be left with Bones, Ant, Randle, Giannis and Rudy. Our bench would be Clark, Rob and Juzang, waiting for Beringer to develop. I don’t know if I like the team tbh, the potential is obvious on both ends but the spacing would be terrible and we’d have no depth whatsoever.
No sense feeling anything about something that will never happen.
The Bucks need picks back as the primary return in a trade like this. We don’t have picks. He’d make our starting 5 the best in the NBA, but in this Thunder era you need depth to compete with their ability to infinitely foul with their bench.

2 of my 3 favourite players and arguably 2 top 5 players, I think if we have the opportunity too we’d be silly not too, if we can do the trade and hold either jaden(unlikely) or naz(less unlikely) and/or ddv then I really like it and tc has been worth every penny

The problem is that you wouldn’t have much of a team left after you do this.
Once again it comes down to his salary and injuries.
I just don’t think I’d pull the trigger on this trade and what it would take to get it done. No shade for GA at all though.

Giannis is the only guy rumored in trade talks I would be happy to gut the team mid-season for cause he’s freaking Giannis.
Call me crazy, but I would not give up young core pieces like Jaden and Naz(both likely included) too get a 31 yr old injiry prone Giannis who’s game relies heavily on athletisim AND a stretch 5 to work. I don’t see him and Rudy being able to stay on the floor at the same time on the offensive end. I’d much prefer a lead guard like Garland or Kyrie as that is our biggest need.
My opinion of Giannis has decreased significantly in the last 6 months. The on-court product is tempting but the off-court drama and ego of this guy would just be so fucking insufferable to have to hear about constantly. Upgrades from a no to a fuck no for me when you consider Jaden would have to be part of the deal.
we can’t afford what other teams will give him, the bucks also said they want to trade him to whatever team he wants to go to, giannis did say he wants to be in a big market which disqualifies us alone, but he also specifically said that he only wants to play for the knicks. there’s nothing we can do also we would have to gut the entire roster, and we’d be right back in cap hell with a team we don’t even know can win
Unless he demands going to the wolves ONLY, otherwise it’ll be like him and dame again. 2 superstars with no team depth in the harder west.
