Russell Westbrook super hyped at the postgame conference, after the win against the Rockets.

He cannot contain himself.

  1. Russ just out there playing for the love of the game. Min contracts? Told no to smaller role? Doesn’t matter what team he laces up for, he just wants to hoop.

  2. LeKing will always be my Goat but I think Russ is my favorite player of all time. Gives 120% night in and night out. Will always be a major factor to the outcome of the game, good or bad!

  3. I love this man. And not in a MIT kind of way where I’m delusional, but in a way where I respect how he plays and if he asked me to drive him to the airport in the early morning I would.

  4. Had no idea there was a sector within this sub that genuinely liked Russ. It feels my black heart with joy. The Lakers stint stained my fandom of his a little, but it wasn’t all his fault.

  5. he is the definition of what aggressiveness on the court and separating that from yourself as a person off the court should look like. He can talk smack to any player in the league in a game and receive all the hate, but he shows all of that as excitement of WINNING the game at the end of the day. this is different from dillon brooks and grant williams because it is almost* never personal with russ off the court.

at the end of the day its always 1. treat people the way you want to be treated and

    2. do what you love regardless of what people say about you that define his last 5 years of his career

  6. Westbrook got me into basketball; he’s my favorite player ever. It’s great seeing him happy; I’d love if he could somehow come back to the Thunder before he retires.

  7. He possesses a fierce competitive spirit and is full of grit. The way he played in his younger days really stuck with me.

  8. I wish things would’ve went differently for Sacramento this season. This win would’ve felt 100x better

  9. Westbrook walking away from cashing free checks in Denver to playing his heart out on a struggling franchise should be added to the playbook for ways to improve your legacy.

  10. I legit love a 37 year old, past his prime, on a 7-22 team, stoked about a win. No sarcasm, not trying to be funny, legit love it.

With so many players taking playing in the nba for granted, he still loves ballin. Never change

  11. As a huge Harden guy I used to dislike Westbrook, but now I’ve grown to appreciate his importance to the league
