8. Matthews is lazy. He is no captain. He inspires nobody. He cant drive a line. Has zero heart. Has zero will to win and doesn't hate to lose. Also is not a playoff performer. All that for 13 million a year. What a joke. Anyone that thinks management should be building a team around Matthews anymore or thinks his opinion should carry any weight regarding what players or coach is brought in needs their head examined.

10. All this talk about Berube has lost the room. Isn’t this the coach that won the division last year? The majority of the players are still there. Why would they tank on the only coach who has won the division in decades? Losing Marner has obviously been a huge affect on Matthews ability to score, but has losing Kampf, Holmberg, and Pacioretty seems have had an effect as well. We really need Stolarz, Tanev and Carlo back. I don’t know, I guess we’re all just trying to figure out what has changed from last years winning team to this.
