  1. We just had a bad week and soon or later every top tier teams will also have their bad week so just learn from it and come out hungry and don’t let the home crowd get into it. Every bottom feeder teams are gunning for top teams since winning is their version of Pat Bev cup so it’s gonna happen and we had couple of those back in Silas era too

  4. Coach's fixation on making Alpi as a role player has always cost to the team. Every beginning of the season he does that. When things go hard then turn back to Alpi. Tonight was another example. If a player like Alpi has 2-3 assists then there is a problem. for 2-3 weeks people shouted Alpi for using crunch time balls. Once the team defeated then you did all blame Alpi. Idiots. Then we saw tonight. I mean we still criticize Alpi because of his FT and 3's but this is about game concept. If you don't capitalize your best player, you are destined to lose even though you have a talented roster. What I say is in general, I mean of course KD will shoot, he is all time best to me. But what about Reed. Since he made some 3's he is suddenly the main ball handler. We saw it. His game knowledge is based on shooting and if he is lucky. No playmaking skills no defense in general. The more you try to make Alpi role player the more this team will lose, and we did lose to the worst teams in the west. They are 6-20 or sth. Those kind of losses is on coach except pelicans in that game everybody sucked.

  12. Houston has a lot of issues but the biggest one is the IQ, particularly for their young guys. They’re young but they’ve played enough basketball to not make some of the decisions they’ve made all December. Not sure why Ime put Tari in for that last defensive possession but I do expect any player on the court, no matter who it is, to follow the game plan. There was no reason for him to leave someone open at the 3 line. Especially when you’re up two with a few seconds left. Stay home and if they tie it up, trust that your team can get a good look with Alpi and KD on the court. I like how Reed played, even with him getting torched late in the fourth, but he can’t commit bad fouls and have TO’s that late in the game. He gives up so much on defense that he has to be better with the ball on the other end. He kind’ve displayed why Ime doesn’t put him on the ball at the end of games like fans have been asking.

    Jabari‘s defense was below level all night. He’s drawing some tough matchups but to be a -20 in a 1 pt loss shows he’s hurting the team.

    Sengun, playing at an allstar, all-NBA level but his IQ in the clutch has started to crack game by game. He had a bad stretch on both ends. Trying to foul bait on a 3-pt shot instead of getting a good attempt on goal, giving up a corner 3, fouling on a jump shot. For him to be the closer they need, he’s gotta be better in those moments.

    In those back to back games, I’m looking for the young guys to control the game. KD could’ve been better tonight be he played 47 mins with no break in the second half. He still gave 24/10/8 and limited his TOs. That’s good contribution for a 37 yr old. He helped create advantages with his gravity but the team isn’t capatilizing as expected. I think that could improve if KD passed better out of the double but when you don’t have someone reliable to take the ball out of his or Alpi’s hands, that’s what they’ll have to live with. Also, Sengun and Jabari should have left this game with more rebounds than KD. Combined they had 11. The center for the Kings had 14 by himself.

    Until the team raises their IQ as a collective, they’ll continue to lose games to teams who play with more effort. No matter the record.

  14. The KD affect. I warned ppl before game 1 it was going to be alot of frustrating games. Hall of fame, all time top 15 player that Ive been a fan of since Texas but this is what I have expected since leaving golden state. Another team he’s on with no offensive identity, lack of consistent intensity/player that sets the tone each game. He’ll say hey that’s the coach job but the teams he’s on take on his personality bc of who he is. It’s all vibes and chilling and he can be very casual even when he’s on on. In okc he had Russ who played with intensity and set the tone and on the warriors he just fit in as the best player bc of his talent/skill but draymond brought that intensity so everyone took their place in their roles with Steph being the leader. He had most his success in the playoffs those two places. Since, his teams don’t always get up for games, especially lesser ones teams, lack killer instinct, aren’t locked in and that’s why they all under achieve or coaches get fired. It’s always someone else. That one intangible he just doesn’t have even though he can do everything else. I’ve seen this before and it’s most likely gonna happen again. Iiwii. There’s no way Dillion/Jalen trade off for KD means you’re about the same but worse defensively… something intangible wise is lacking…

  17. The Rockets are a 2-man team operating without any semblance of a floor general. Teams pressure Houston and turnovers pile up. The Rockets are a guaranteed first round exit unless they bring in a floor general. Look at Jrue Holiday, Trae Young, or even Ja Morant if the price is right.

  18. Where are all the people saying Alperen can't handle it and KD should take the clutch shots now? A player hated this much by his own fans should leave this team immediately. I hope he goes to the Lakers; then you can go find yourselves a new scapegoat

  21. The young guys will not develop bringing the ball to give to KD so he can hold it then make turnovers… imagine that.. if that’s was JG y’all would be killin him.. but no one says 💩 cuz it’s KD n that’s a cop out.. bs cowards

  28. The team has too many turnovers. They cant pass out of a double team and the ball doesn't move around to create space and also miss easy layups! This was a bad loss.

  37. Sick and tired of these Turkish fans. They need to be put in their place. They have no idea how basketball works. Constantly want Sengun traded. Unable to take any feedback. Weak minded and incredibly low witted. Maybe they’d be happier if he became a swimmer.

  38. They need a point guard and until they get one to run the floor while Fred is out they will continue to have these struggles. KD and Alpi are not the issue, the lack of a real point guard on the floor is the main issue.

  40. Coach garbage Boston won without you and Alperen Şengün is overrated. I’ve watched too many games where the offense keeps running through him like he’s some elite ball-handler or playmaker, and it just doesn’t hold up. He constantly loses the ball, turns it over trying to create off the dribble, and makes bad defensive decisions.

    Even when he’s dribbling comfortably, he’ll stand there pounding the ball with one hand, then do some slow, corny between-the-legs move like he thinks he’s a guard. It’s forced. He’s not that guy.

    Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama are on a completely different level—two-way impact, rim protection, spacing, mobility. It’s not even close.

    Two years ago I was high on Şengün, but now I’m seeing it clearly: the hype went too far.

    And the announcers were right about Kevin Durant—you can literally see the frustration when he has to give the ball up to guys who can’t consistently make the right read or capitalize on advantages. The idea of this team sounded good on paper, but in reality the coach is overrated too.

    The only real keepers here are KD, Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith Jr., and Steven Adams. Everybody else is expendable

  43. The Rockets are what they show not what they say. You can’t call a team that beat you a lesser opponent if they outplayed you short handed. Then previously lose to the pelicans. This team is trash disguised as a good team.
