Fun story
This was Mario Night for the Nailers. I wore a Mario hat and mustache. There were specialty jerseys for auction that night and me being a gamer, I bid on and won one.
But after the disaster of a game that occurred, I only wore it once to another game that we also lost.
Fast forward a year later and they had a Fortnite night. I decided to wear the jersey again where the Nailers once again had a horrible night where they would go on to lose 7 to 4 after allowing 5 goals in the first period. Friends of ours were joking with me about taking the jersey off, because it’s cursed.
I went home that night and put it up on eBay and sold it.
I was there for both games.
