  7. Jays will score more home runs this season.
    Varsho had one of the highest home run rates per bat.
    Santander and Barger should hit more compared to last season.
    Vladdy will carry his momentum and confidence as a MVP-calibre player and hit in-line with his home run average or more.
    If we get Tucker or Bregman and lose Bo, Jays will hit more home runs as a result.

    Interesting fact: during the World Series between the Jays and Dodgers, whichever team hit the most home runs went on to win that game

  8. 1. Vladdy is only 26. He was also on a crazy playoff pace. May have found his home run swing again. I do expect a big season from him. I don't know about 38, but I definitely expect 30+

    2. Don't see the pen being this good, although I definitely see it improving from last year. Top 5, no. Top 10-12, yes.
    Hoffman bounce back plus Rogers and Yimi and Varland all doing well.

    3. Highly unlikely. It's a very good team with depth. 90+ wins expected.

    4. Don't see the Jays leading in HR's. Top 10 in MLB, yes. Slight improvement from last year.

    5. No way. We barely stole last year. Even if we signed Tucker, I could see us getting maybe 100-120 bags. The Rays had 190 last year…

  12. 1. It would take someone to fall off for Vlad to crack Top 3. He is easily a Top 5 candidate though. Personally, my rankings are Judge, JRam, then Witt followed by Cal and then Vladdy, but comparable to Vladdy # wise would be Julio Rodriguez. You just said it, his best MVP season in recent memory was MVP6. 2021 was an outlier I feel.

    2. All you can do is LAUGH at this hot take. The only time I can remember our bullpen being pretty decent was that 2023 year. Historically over the past 10+ years or so we have been mid to BAD.

    5. ChatGPT is just making up stuff at this point. When was the last time we were even Top 5 in SB? Probably WAY back in the hay days of Alomar, Collins, Moseby etc.

    Take 4) 5/10… MAYBE (HR's) if Santander stays healthy. Springer, Vladdy, Barger, and a Tucker signing MAY do it!
    Take 5) 2/10(NOT A CHANCE)!!! Jays lead in SB!

  16. I hope Vladdy has worked on his trajectory in the off season. Working with Popkins like Springer did. Vladdy needs to load up on the back side with a body angle like Springer !
