  2. Was also at this game (my first time going to a playoff game) and I have to agree no hockey game since has felt quite like that one.

    Someone shared a highlight package of the game without any audio from the broadcast announcers. Rewatching this is pretty much the closest you can get to that feeling, until they make the playoffs again ofc 🙂

  5. Honestly thought we had that up 3-2 , maybe not in Edmonton but in game 7 at home … I also thought that in 2011 …

  6. Was at this game too, ears were still ringing the next day. Even oilers players like Drai, McDavid, Kane, Etc kept stating how impressed with our fans they were and that it’s probably the loudest building they’ve been in (other than their own barn)

    Such a shame how things have gone since then.

  7. Went to SCF 2011 game 2 when Burr scored that OT wraparound with Thomas out of the net. It was electrifying. Also went to 07 game 1 against Dallas when I was 15, stayed the whole game all 4 OTs, didnt get to school until 10 am next day lol. Hopefully more moments like these are in the Canucks future.

  12. This was on my birthday. Was watching on the sunshine coast and went outside afterwards to a sky full of stars. Was just a really happy moment.

  16. Was also there! My first playoff game. Insane energy in and out of that building. The game was electric but my favourite memory of that night was after. The city was so ALIVE. Cars honking, people screaming out the window, everyone high fiving, people giving hugs. Even folks in oilers jerseys were giving me hugs haha
