There’s been rumours they don’t want to get rid of Berube. This is either a change they actually wanted to make or a change to get the media/ fans off their back for a short time to basically “hey guys look, we did what you wanted”
I don’t know why people keep saying Lalonde needs to be fired. His main job is the PK, where the Leafs are 6th overall in the NHL and 2nd since Nov 12th (at 91%).
It’s the only good thing about this team this year, and unlike Savard, he’s actually doing his job.
