I bet this trip is a lot of fun, not only for the players but the moms. I imagine most of these moms have spent 10 to 25 years following these boys around on their club teams and development leagues.
Proud of the guys’ performance in front of the Moms. Highly recommend people go and check out McLellan’s postgame comments about the culture of the group and some of the decisions to scratch guys between the last two games. Speaks to his character a lot and the changes we’re seeing with this group’s team attitude.
Mo is a stone-faced killer who was born in a pod and has no parents, the only thing he’s even known is hockey.
Ras and his mom look adorable!
Given the investment these women made for the players to have their careers… They deserve some recognition.
Make sure you call your mom
Corey Perry in the back corner WTF!
Poor Elmer’s face… Looks like someone smashed some chocolate cake on his mouth with how bad that injury looks (I imagine the photo was right after the game, so ofc it’ll look bad so soon).
Every one of these parents sacrificed a ton for these boys to have a chance to be here. You can tell how proud they all are.
Good team culture to appreciate families like this.
