  1. Richie it's over , just quit … have you noticed that Detroits loses are close games that were prime time and all (but minn) in the REFS. phuck Detroit … CHECK ME

  2. I felt bad for the Lions fans at the end of the Steelers game, when the Ref announced the result of the lateral play to Goff for a touchdown. Ref: "Called a Touchdown on the field" (Lions fans roar) …. "BUT" …(mumble, mumble) "Offensive Pass interference. Game Over" … The Ref could have 'started' with "Foul on the Offense" but he just had to dangle that cookie, and then rip out their hearts.

  3. ESPN confirms TeSlaa did NOT commit OPI. NFL Rule 17, Section 2 Extraordinarily Unfair Acts – Roger Goodell SHOULD overturn game results

  4. What DC has not figured out is that field goals are now very valuable. Kickers are hitting them from longer and longer distances, so getting no points on a drive is much worse than going for 3. He has not adjusted to this metric.

  5. For arguably the best or one of the top 5 offenses in the league, getting 15 yards rushing is insane. They are 20th in the league on 3rd and 4th down with a top 3 offense, crazy. They have made Jordan Love look like an MVP twice. They made JJ McCarthy look great. They absolutely choked in a big game against the Eagles. They basically seem to completely s… the bed in every clutch situation.

  6. Lions have a top 5 RB, top 5 WR, and a QB who is top 5 in every major category. Somehow they never get it done in close games, 2-5 in one score games. Everytime they are in a close one, the other team makes all the clutch plays and they blow it.

  7. Eisen jinx. I recall when he picked my Raiders to win the division and we tanked. Now he picks KC and Det to go to the super bowl and look at them now. Cover of si and rich Eisen endorsement are sports death.

  8. Why isn't anyone mentioning what an important loss Sam LaPorta is? If he was in this game, the Lions win. It's in his name; when the door closes, so does the offense. (Yeah, the injuries to the OL add insult to actual injuries.)

  9. Dan Campbell talks a great game. He gets the media on his side with performative antics, and is largely carried by an ultra talented roster. It’s the same thing Russell Wilson did in Seattle

  10. As a lions fan, we just don't deserve to make the playoffs when you can't get key wins and just rely on other teams to lose. I understand our secondary is once again on backups, but we can't stop big plays. Every 50/50 ball tossed up by the opposing qb we never seem to win, nor can both sides of the ball just both have a good game. When the offense is rollin, the defense can't stop anyone. When the defense is strong, the offense can't do anything. I like Dan, but the "we just need to tweak a few things" was okay to say at the beginning of the season, not anymore.

  11. Theres no depth and thats on. brad holmes he should be fired. Shep too because this defense is swiss cheese. Also dan campbell needs an offensive coordinator

  12. The vibes just haven’t been right with this team all year. We beat a bunch of bad teams but never beat a playoff team. Goff and the offense have actually been pretty great during this late part of the season. Unfortunately, the defense has been arguably the worst in the league. We’ve been losing games or golf throws like 3 touchdowns, 400 yards and no picks. The O and D line need to be overhauled for next year. And please football gods stop destroying our secondary’s legs

  13. Obviously football is a physical sport, and you would be out of your mind to suggest a defense play less physical. But Dan Campbell has emphasized physicality so much you have to wonder if he is getting his defense to play at a level that is physically unsustainable over a season. Maybe they are just wearing their own bodies out.

  14. Hope we miss at this rate, get a better pick to get a strong o-line body, get another later down the draft and some d-line at some point. Evaluate what did and did not work with the new people in positions this year and be willing to make course corrections not just relying on "we're good".

  15. Let this season be a bust so we'll get better draft picks. Look…the Lions have a solid core that's still in their prime. We just need to tweak some areas. Spend a year rebuilding the offensive line. Rebuild the defensive line to help our secondary. Get another pass rusher and we're back in contention. Maybe start looking for a competent, mobile QB who can challenge Goff and can extend plays, with all of our offensive weaponry still under contract and still in their prime, a mobile QB will cause defenses to back off because he's be a running back and our receivers will become running backs and our running backs will become receivers. Defenses won't know how to scheme against a mobile QB who is surrounded by our potent weaponry. The Lions must to loyal to the game not loyal to a name because with our offensive weapons our window will close in two years. In other words, if Stafford were the QB of the Lions…oh my goodness…And this is no knock on Goff but he is too limited. And the need to build a brickwall around him is unreasonable in today's game.

  16. How about the Lions putting DMO in when you're backed up at the one-yard line so he can pound you out! OMG! Come on Man! RUN Knuckles! RUN Knuckles! RUN Knuckles! They gave the Steelers the 2 points and following touch down…

  17. What did Holmes say last off-season? Something about them having "no sense of urgency" coming into this season? That's pretty much been the case since that Game 1 fiasco vs the Pack, and it is now, too…

  18. Rich , feel free to delve into the officiating at Lions games the last 2 yrs. Roger Badsmell should be scared to fly into MI. Lions EAT ZEBRAS on the Serengeti , I see no reason it should NOT be happening when they THROW THE GAME !
