Holy shit, we broke the curse everyone! Not only did we win the game, we won in a shoot out with Silovs in net. And as much as I want to launch Hayes into the sun, he lead the charge with the laziest S/O goal I’ve ever seen, so props to him on that one. But one achievement stands above the others I’ve mention. Our captain finally reached 1,724 points, beating Mario Lemieux to become the team’s leading all-time point scorer. The man just doesn’t stop breaking records, and you can’t help but love to see it.

Now, we’re off to Toronto to face the Maple Leafs before we go on a small Christmas break until Sunday. Like us, the Leafs aren’t doing so hot right now and they currently sit dead last in the Atlantic. As for us, our losses have added up over the last few weeks, and we’ve dropped to 7th in the Metro. However, if we’ve found our Mojo again, these next two games are easily winnable and could get us heading in the right direction.
There’s a lot of hockey left to play and a lot of time for us to turn things around.

  1. We really need to beat Toronto. That 3-0 third period blown lead on Nov 4 at Toronto started a lot of the problems we’ve had of late.

Toronto sucks. Last place and their fanbase and media ofc are fulminating.

Let’s shove it up their ass before Christmas.

  2. Im gonna skip the prayer circle again today but if i were to do one it would be for dewar. Dude hustles so much he deserves a goal.
