Wow! What memories! I loved watching him relive his biggest moments. Just a great doc!

I plan on watching it tonight! And tomorrow night. And probably again Christmas Eve when the family goes to bed. Then watching the Broncos curb stomp the chefs on Xmas night. Replay of that on Boxing Day. Then probably ready for Elway again on the 27th.
Can’t wait to log this bad boy on Letterboxd.
My opinion on Elway has soured in recent years but definitely watching this!
Just watched it he >!rode into the sunset at the end.!<
Soooo good. Exceeded expectations
Onions were in the room during the SB XXXII footage.
I just bawled like a baby watching this shit…so fucking good
I cried, too.
Honestly surprised at how candid they were about Reeves. Also the discussion about John’s football life and the impact it had on his family was really vulnerable and I’m glad they went there. Great watch!
I just watched it on my flight back to Orlando from Denver. It was great. I teared a bit from the memories and his emotion. It was a heck of a ride for him.
Watched with my dad, was really well done. Humanized him a lot. Dude’s life is still like a goddam movie.
I started watching it and I’m enjoying it so far. He was my idol growing up. I try to separate him as a player to him as a person. Over the years, I’ve heard things about him and how much of an asshole he is.
So frigging good! It really dives into the cost of greatness and how big of an impact he had on Denver. And it appropriately lingers on the helicopter spin as the climax. He really did change his entire legacy with that one play. It also humanizes him a lot. Great balance between football and his life experiences. 10/10
Can’t wait to watch this with my dad when I return home for the holidays 🤍🧡
I just watched it. It’s lovely. A must watch for any Broncos fan, or anyone who grew up on Denver in the 80s and 90s.
Just watched it. Pretty good and had a consistent pace. A lot of it I already knew and some I didn’t. It was sad about his dad sister and the end of his marriage but it seems like he’s finally found some peace . I’m glad they were able to add the Super Bowl 50 “this one’s for pat” that always brings a tear to my eye
’98 Super Bowl facts that I still find hilarious:
1) Dan Reeves fired Mike Shanahan
2) Elway was benched in his rookie season in favor of…Falcons backup QB Steve DeBerg
3) Terry Bradshaw, who trashed Elway endlessly during his early years in the league, handed him the Lombardi trophy
Truly the best Revenge Game in NFL history. Diabolical
