Classic deflection tactics by Zaire Franklin, 27 points should be more than enough to win a game. It really doesn’t help that pass coverage is a foreign concept to him.

Offense did their part, putting up 27 with a geriatric QB and 20% of our starting offensive line.
Grupe hit every kick, and Riggo only had to punt twice, including putting one inside the 20.

I think our LBs gave up more yards and catches than the rest of the team combined. Defense was awful. Special teams was also bad. Offense was good

The lack of accountability is mind boggling.

I mean technically he’s not wrong that the 9ers outperformed in all 3 phases, just the biggest reason for that was that our defense was so horrific that it would have been nearly impossible to “win” the offensive comparison with SF when we basically allowed points on every drive of the game except their last one (the 64 yard missed FG excepted cause we all know they would have scored on that drive too with a few more seconds on the clock).
The offense didn’t give up 41 points, Zaire.
The fact that Franklin constantly says stupid shit like this and is still a captain says everything about this teams culture.
Ballard has to go. I don’t care what the circumstances are. It’s the same outcome EVERY year. 1 or 2 wins from the playoffs. Excuses left and right. Late season collapse. This year may have felt different the first 10 weeks but it wasn’t. It’s not on coaching, because it was the same under Reich.
He hasn’t built a team that can play at a high level for 17 games. It’s a combination of culture and talent. For some reason, December and January are when things go off the rails and we suffer a truly embarrassing loss or two. Whatever identity and strengths we had for the season go out the window. We were the #1 rush defense going onto the game and let one of the least effecient run offenses have their way. How do you hold Seattle to 0 TDs IN SEATTLE and then completey no show at home.
Ballard has built a culture that crumbles when their backs are against the wall, especially on defense.
There needs to be far more accountability and it needs to start with CIG firing Ballard. 9 years is more than enough time to know he’s not the guy. The only 2 playoff appearances were when he had a would be HoF QB and a likely HoF QB.
He’s tripping hard. Did the defence get *any* stops yesterday?? Unc Rivers put up multiple TD drives and coordinated the offence like a war-time general.
If the defence could limit them to a FG on the KR fumble, the Colts would’ve had the lead because they scored on the next drive!

Idk it’s not very often in the NFL that you can score 27 points and say the offense failed.
You can say they failed to answer the other team, but that falls back on defense if you’re capable of critical thinking.
