1. I think Leonard would need to clear waivers.

2. Kasper should go down if possible. Then remove Rasmussen. His experiment should be over. No offense, no hitting, no need.

7. Leonard looks like a great bottom/middle six guy. Not sure if he'll be able to our last the reinforcements though.

8. I would consider a spot with Danielson on the third line. Rasmussen could be placed on waivers as far as I’m concerned if we need to make room.

10. Danielson was getting tons more opportunities to score with breakaways and shots than Kasper this year. I think it is safe to say that Danielson is having a better season than Kasper and this is without centering Kane and DeBrincat. Offensively, you could make a case that Kasper’s lack of production affected the Kane and Cat and the Danielson line too (Soderblom has played better but isn’t an offensive stat machine). Not talking about options for Kasper is just irresponsible.

13. Blah blah metrics, and expected this and that are utterly meaningless. Whatever happened to Kasper, and that surprised me as I was saying that he would be a 25-30 goal scorer this season, he needs to be off the ice. He's basically a zero. This isn't a slump. This is a collapse.

    The fact is that Leonard is on a hot streak and they need to make the most of it. Strike while the iron is hot. How we are having a conversation when he has almost as many points as "Mr. -14" Kasper in only 4 games is perplexing.

16. You dont send Kasper down in a sophemore slump. Larkin had the same thing, Raymond had the same thing…Sending him down will do only one thing, kill his confidence. He plays defense and is heavy and plays 200ft non liability, the goals arent going in and they will. I think at the moment the scratch is Appleton. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th line have been amazing and the reason for the latest wings wins. I would make the argument to swap Kasper and Emmit finnie line assignments. That could get the goals going on the 3rd (kids line) and Kasper going on the first where he was unreal with larkin and raymond last year. But if you punish Kasper who made this team last year and is a NHL player by sending him down it will ruin him while his confidence is at all time low.

20. Replace Rasmussen. The wings is the only team to not score a short handed goal in two years and one reason is because they have big slow softy Rassmussen on the kill.

22. I've been saying before you ever brought it up that they should send Kasper down. Logging bigger minutes and getting his confidence back up will help. He isn't going to get too 6 minutes in Detroit anyway.
