Colts lose to 49ers in a debacle. River is not bad defense terrible from top to bottom. Time to think about 2026 and beyond. Where is this franchise headed?

Shane should stay. Ballard has to go. And I’m a guy that has defended Ballard for years.
It wasn’t even the corners getting killed last night. It was the LBs and Safeties. And those are Ballard’s guys that he has stood by for years. They’re just not good. This game was an indictment on Ballard’s ability to construct a defense.
Colts having the most wins under Ballard in the AFC South and 0 division titles just mean they been consistent #2 and #3, 70 wins and 76 losses so far

The Colts are fun to watch. Rivers saga is truly one for the history books. The issue is the backside defense, they collectively are tardy to the ball. It's as if they all think they are out there to "help." I think it's time to trade some draft choices to shore up the defensive backfield…….
Lou is past tense … get a DC who can be flexible and make adjustments that are sorely needed!

Defense wasn't good when we were 7-1. You're mis remembering Kent. We won in spite of the defense. They were giving up tons of yards then too.
Unfortunately I think it’s time to clean house. I think it’s a talented roster (with zero depth). Zero reason the defense should be this bad. Terrible scheme or terrible coaching scheme.

Rivers was dicing them up. Unfortunately, there was just a couple of throws, he did not have the arm to make and that was the difference in the game not counting the fumble there were several wide a** open touchdowns, rivers either didn't attempt or just couldn't get the ball there We could have had a touchdown on every f**** drive. If rivers had the arm he needed and he knows it He was f**** dicing them up
Did you guys notice the play where our defenses scrambling around everybody?Switching places law to goes to middle linebacker.They snap the ball , everybody rushes the pass , or including law , to from the middle linebacker position who tries to go all the way around the edge……. I seen the refs miss a call when they tackled a colts player by grabbing his helmet like he was ripping it off and no call I didn’t like it but it must be legal because no call😢
