Rooting for Bengals’ WINS or DRAFT Position? | Enter the Jungle

The Cincinnati Bengals are eliminated from playoff contention — so what should fans actually be rooting for over the final two games?

James Rapien and Andrew Fox Miller debate whether winning meaningless games helps build momentum or risks fooling the front office into avoiding necessary changes. Does a better draft pick matter more than finishing strong with Joe Burrow on the field?

Plus, thoughts on Ja’Marr Chase making his fifth straight Pro Bowl, DJ Turner’s Pro Bowl snub, Tee Higgins’ impact, Bengals vs. Cardinals preview, and MORE on this Christmas edition of Enter the Jungle.

  1. All these comments fall on deaf ears this franchise will do what they normally do nothing to better this team.Taylor in the locker room after Sundays game was a joke Some of the players looked uninterested in celebrating. He looked like he was going to do a commercial I am going to Disneyland.

  2. It really doesn't make a difference because it'll be the wrong player that they draft. The current coaching staff can't develop players anyway. It's been proven by Zac Taylor every single year!!!😂

  3. This is the dumbest fucking question ever. Winning these games does absolutely nothing for us. I want higher draft picks. I’m beyond tired of winning “seasons done” games.

  4. You all are young I'm sick I'm tired of this mediocrity I want SB wins. These owners suck, can't draft, can't get top FAs. I've been watching this team for 57 years I'm going to die without seeing a SB winner. Please I'm begging this ownership to go all in, back load contracts and please let me see a SB winner. Throw the last two games for the draft picks.

  5. Isaac Curtis was a phenomenal receiver, but he was before you guys were even born. But one thing the Bengals have never seemed to be short of is excellent receivers. I don't think I've ever seen anything like the current batch, though. Tee Higgins would be the Number 1 receiver on any other team in the league–the body control he shows in just crazy. And down the roster, none of those other guys is a slouch, either, tight ends, too. So you two are dead right that there's no excuse for this team to be 5-10 at this point in the season. And yes, the Brown family and Tobin will make no big moves in free agency and the cycle will resume. We can only hope for a better outcome next year. Thanks, James and Andrew, and Merry Christmas.

  6. Draft 1st priority. Winning now is pointless and achieves nothing, at least we could still achieve a good draft pick, the bigger picture needs of better quality players outweighs the smaller picture of feeling good for a short period because we won some games in a losing season. Time to be long term strategic.

  7. It doesn't matter they'll fuck their draft picks up anyway. They're a bunch of dumbasses. The only time they don't fuck up their draft picks are when dudes fall in their laps, I.E. Burrow, Chase.

  8. The comments saying to tank for a draft pick seems ridiculous. Have they ever done anything competitively? Even when your losing, there's a sense of pride and anger that sets in to push you to get back in the game. These are Pro athletes, if they dont want to win ALWAYS, then they shouldn't be on the field at all. The draft picks will fall where they fall. You NEED players who want to win , no matter the circumstances.
    CHEERS to ALL 🎅🎅

  9. Wins, because it really doesn't matter what draft order there in. Bengals can't draft anyway 1st or 32nd they'll still find a project that takes years or never to develop.

  10. Even dummy fans like us knew they didn't do enough last off season but we took it and pivoted to well maybe they have a plan. Well they didn't and what EVERYONE other than apparently the Bengals knew happened. If they run it back again this year Joe's don't and I will be too.

  11. Penei Sewell made the pro-bowl too for the fifth straight season for the Lions too and his QB didn't miss half the season for 3 of the last five season. So who is more important for this team? Jamarr or Joe? Not to mention we already had a number one( granted not as good but still a #1) so when you make the comparison you really need to be asking Sewell and Higgins or just Chase. Not taking ANYTHING away from Chase. These type of decisions are more about the FO wanting to put fans in seats and make money instead of winning SB's. How's that working?

  12. I looked at the standings and games remaining. The Bengals win next 2, Ravens drop next 2. We have the same record but because we split what happens. Do we leap frog to second or remain at 3rd?
Another thing I noticed is Jackson is hurt again, he has been hurt 5 times this season. Not that, that matters its just you don't hear a buzz about it.
