  1. The idea of older veterans who have never won a championship mentoring younger players who really aren’t even that young in light of other players in the league who are the same age or younger and who are much better doesn’t do it for me at all.
I can’t take the narrative that Westbrook and Demar deserve better than this. What?! They are guys out on the floor in the NBA getting paid. If they can’t go out and win, they don’t deserve better than that. It’s not like you get a hand out or participation trophy. People are confusing deserve vs earned. Likewise, all this love to Malik, saying, “oh he has a vibe, he changes the energy, he’s the pizza guy…” Does he win games? Obviously not. A player as young as Cooper Flag is already making a winning impact in some games. We need to get real and just get some better players. Trying to get the young guys on this squad to follow Westbrook and Demar as if it’s going to take the kings anywhere is delusional.

  2. When people mention trading Sabonis because he is not good on D….watch tonight's game. The team is bad on D. However, Sabonis plays hard every game, and is a top tier center in other categories. I can't wait til he gets back, especially to see if DC can work a Sabonis/Maxime at 5 and 4 together, and Keegan at 3.

  3. You are constantly grinchy at DeMar and Russ – can you be grinchy at other players and show more equalness? It seems no matter what they do, there's always a "but" factor and some sort of disappointment right afterwards. For some reason, Keegan can't do no wrong. For example, he had tendencies to disappear during some quarters but then the blame goes to DeMar and other vets for not getting him involved. Keegan is not shooting his threes at a high percentage, but that's okay cause he's just getting his groove back from injury. Then there's comments that he played 42 minutes after the Rockets OT games, and that was "too much" and we have to take care of him but no respect for DeMar and Russ for putting in long minutes after 17-18 years of NBA longevity. Keegan just got injured again, but no comment/concerns on him being injury prone and his unavailability for a team. Where's the fair criticism for Keegan and others? You have two hall of famers on the Kings team, and we are just being so critical and disrespectful at the tail end of their career. It's okay to express criticism, but the constant nagging is very frustrating. This continuous negative narrative about these vets is becoming so toxic after every episode, and it spills to all these other Sacramento sports media analysts. Give them their flowers, and just end it there once in a while, with no grinchiness to follow! Give fair feedback and criticisms to others like how you do to them!

  4. Honestly my heart goes out to you guys. 2 years ago we chanted “sell the team” and wore paper bags on our heads, yet y’all still pack the arena and just cheer on the team in the midst of a really tough year. You deserve a better product. Hoping the ping pong balls bounce your way and you can land a generational talent. Unfortunately in smaller markets that’s the only path. We’d still be in the dark ages if we didn’t land Cade.

  5. Many Kings fans are just sick and tired of watching these old extremely selfish ISO players like Demar and not as old but still fairly old Lavine. Their game consists of just looking for their shots and not much else. There is no ball movement with these 2 on the court. This is why both have been losing their entire NBA careers. After losing for half a decade in Chicago, I’m still dumbfounded they both landed with the Kings to continue their losing ways.

  6. I believe damar wants to go to the pistons so he played much harder then usual. I understand the money would be difficult but i believe he sees himself a better fit for their system then Duncan Robinson
