I know there's a lot of negativity with Michkov & many think they're fools gold etc, but how about this team so far!!

They are playing good hockey. Defence is playing rock solid..Vladar been elite. Zegras elevates any line he's on..TK is buzzing again. Tippett playing more consistent..

Ristolainen has been a great boost to the backend & now everyone is slotted in well (hope Sanheim is ok)

Drysdale has had very few bad games this yr. His jump in play has been significant & so fun to watch.

Barkey has looked great (hope he's ok), Grebenkin/Grundstrom/Abols have fixed their 4th line woes.

There's more things going well/good with this organization right now than we've seen in over a decade & I'm loving it.

  1. This team where they are at this point in the season with their flaws is insane. They are legit one of the best teams in the league as far as record/points go.

  6. It’s wild how much better they look still lacking a true 1D or 1C. Not to mention Ersson still being iffy at times.

    Zegras just gives them playmaking that they haven’t had since G, and it’s nice being able to see puck movement again.

    And at the very least they’re watchable. It’s hard to say they’ve been that consistently for a while.

  8. On top of all that we get to watch the world juniors where Martone is a headliner, Berglund is captain of Sweden & Luchanko should have a bigger role!

  9. Very unexpected. The east is still crazy close, but I don’t see this team going on a losing streak.

  13. The D hasn’t been this good in a long time. I’d rather have the depth that they boast than that 1D. There aren’t many teams that can run out a risto/seeler quality 3rd pair. I do worry about Andrea’s staying power especially in a playoff setting.

  17. I haven’t caught the last two games (I have them on DVR and plan on watching after my Christmas shift). I just checked the standings and came here for confirmation. WOW! I AM SO HAPPY TO BE A FLYERS FAN RIGHT NOW.
