Stalking, trolling, and harassing NFL players is apparently totally fine according to the Detroit Lions and Ryan Kennedy will face no actions from the Lions.

  6. DK shouldn’t have done what he did but the people going by the audio from the video are whack. All you can hear is the dude filming so saying “he didn’t say anything to him in the video” is wild. They were also face to face unless it was filmed from the “fans” POV you’re not likely to hear anything that’s said. It’s not like the fans gonna shout some racist ass shit for the world to hear or even anything that would make people uncomfortable

This is a fan that has had formal complaints filed against him already (and likely should have never been there to begin with), You have video evidence of him saying his goal was provoking DK.   11. If someone is being stalked, harassed, etc., then the proper remedy is to get an injunction against the offending party.

    Assuming the fan is guilty of the alleged behavior, the US does not endorse vigilante type behavior and words alone are not enough to trigger self-defense.

    DK could have notified Stadium security, could have notified the teammates, could have notified his coach, the refs, etc. All would have been mor reasonable than performing a harmful or offensive touch, also known as a battery.

  18. The NFL needs to wait for what comes of the law suit before deciding what to do about the fan. Unfortunately for DK, he is on his own here. That fan got assaulted. No two ways about it.

    Now, did he deserve the slap? For sure. And he has a track record behind him. But the NFL is a huge organization. And DK made poor decisions.

    Once the dust settles the league can just perma him for life. But until then, it could look retaliatory.

  29. NFL is gonna protect the shield no matter what. Action against the fan would’ve immediately led to a lawsuit, which regardless of the details that would arise, it’s a lose-lose for the NFL. Same for the Lions.

    That jackass executed his plan to perfection and got exactly what he wanted, except the opportunity to sue the league or the Lions. I’m still willing to bet he sues DK.

    Dude voided $45M future guaranteed by getting suspended. There’s a reason that clause was in the contract. If you’re can’t control yourself with $45M on the line, what the hell is wrong with you?
