Please come back to Boston Breggy
Delusional.
Rather have Marte and Donovan than just Bregman. Both salaries combined is what Bregman would cost annually. They also have plenty of assets to make those trades.
if Dave D was the GM this would be done and dusted by Xmas. get on it. If they don't Bregman/Bichette or Ketel I will be livid.
Need to get one of Bregman, Bichette, Marte. The figure out the logjam pf lefties
What are the Redsox going to do with Christian Campbell?
Hey go get Donavan…… sign surez…. Meyers to 3rd!! Donavan 2nd. Surez DH
I really think this Team is already better than last year, remember now we have a full season of Roman Anthony and that's improvement we must work with the young core Marcelo is a great defender he will be at third get a real DH and move Massa to St Louis for Donovan and put him at second and we will improve defense that's a great team we could wait for Casas meanwhile we keep Duran, Rafaela, Abreu & Anthony on the lineup rotation of Dh resting 4 outfielders and that's a Team for October remember we could shape this at the trade deadline, people " if you build it they'll come"😂 Go Red Sox
Right now this team will not be as good as last year. Henry and Breslow have demonstrated they want to keep the money generated by the team rather than reinvesting it in seasoned and talented ballplayers. Lou, you're going to have a long year in the booth unless the Sox brass do more than a few things big in size to improve the team. I doubt it will happen.
wont do 5 years.. 4 yes…
I think Rosenthal’s take was correct. The Sox have already dug into the well. Makes no sense to trade more for a player like Donavan who does not fill the need or really deplete not only prospects but current players for Marte.
Spend the money and get Bregman. Bichette is great too and younger but he is an absolute defensive liability and we all know that we would have beat the Yankees ibut for errors.
Lou left out Sonny Grey, Kutter Crawford, Garret Whitlock, Tanner Houck, and Aroldis Chapman when listing the players with more than 3 years of MLB service on the roster
Sell the team and FIRE THEIR SPOKESMAN LOU
Five years to Bregman is a no-brainer. Five at $140M – done.
