Do YOU think that any of these players will make an All Star team?

  1. I really enjoyed rooting for Tommy Pham as a dback fan. Dude played like his life was on the line everyday.

  2. Varsho will get in by fan vote if he’s healthy, hits like he did last year, and the Blue Jays carry last year’s momentum into ’26

  3. JP won’t and shouldn’t even be on the team, but will for at least one more season unless Colt Emerson kills it this spring forcing M’s hand.

  4. As a Dodger fan, I’m pretty confident that, as much as I love them, Miguel Rojas and Kiké Hernandez will not make any all-star teams.

  5. Many of these are good enough, but some are injury prone and haven’t had a good first half and none of them have the star power it takes to get over the hump in voting. Personally I think Nico will be soon, edman certainly could as well.

  6. I guess ? There’s 68 players on the roster (34/ea) – 40-44 positions players and 24-28 pitchers. There has to be a rep from each of the 30 teams. Starters are chosen by fan vote and everyone else is picked by either players, managers, or commissioner’s office. Also, if a selected player decides to skip or is injured, a replacement is found and “both” effectively are still All-Stars.

Any one of the players listed can also put up a strong first half or get the token nod from the NL/AL manager to land one of the final spots. There’s a reason why Daniel Vogelbach, Bryan LaHair, and Tommy La Stella made the trip.

  7. All Star teams aren’t that special (for the MLB) because every team has a rep. Anybody on this team lands on the Rockies and there’s a good chance they’re an All Star this season.

  8. I think the easiest path would be any of them going to a bad team and being the default representative. A lot of them are on teams which have other talent which has made it harder for them to get on.
