Ho! Ho! Ho-ly Smokes. Hurricanes lose 5-2 to the Panthers Heading into Winter Break

The Carolina Hurricanes, unfortunately, blew another multi-goal lead to the Florida Panthers for the second time in five days, this time 2-0. What went wrong in the loss? On the Wednesday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, Zach begins the show by recapping another blown lead from the Hurricanes, the third one in three straight games. Instead of being up 3-0, it was a 2-0 lead that evaporated into a 5-2 loss. What went wrong? Secondly, Zach reacts to Rod Brind’Amour’s postgame presser, following the loss. Finally, Zach reacts to what Jordan Staal said postgame as well. How did that game look from a player’s perspective? All of that and more, on the latest edition of Locked On Hurricanes.

  1. I don’t know why our team was crushed after the lucky bounce off of Niki’s skate like dude yeah it sucks but literally after that we were not the same team

  2. No shortage of quit on this team as of late. I’m also not on the “Rod is untouchable “ bandwagon. He needs to be evaluated to see if he’s the guy that can get these overachievers to the next level.

  3. Notice anything yet? No? Panthers are toying. They are letting the Canes over exert for two straight periods with all of the checking and puck chasing and then 'surprise mfer' 😂

They have as good of conditioning if not better and they know the weaknesses of Rods system. It's too aggressive all of the time and it just needs optimization.

  4. I'm a huge canes fan, but this three game choke job has blackpilled me. This team, as currently constructed and run, is not a serious contender for the cup. This latest loss is a crushing one that makes you wonder if they can ever get over the mental hurdle. They had Florida… HAD THEM…. and gave the game away.

  5. Guys, honestly, we need to set aside these differences and pray and support our teams, the cats. The canes, ya even the red wings wich were west once. Any team. Bu the AVS mustnt be allowed the cup, ever! No more than sauron getting the ring. AVS must be stopped.

  6. A lot of people are blaming Anderson, but he was let out to dry by his defense at least 3 times that Florida scored.

They are showing to be undisciplined when it matters most.
