  1. I would sign Austin Hays, but then we would probably need to try to figure out what to do with Dairon Blanco because right now he’s just wasting a space on the 40 man. Tyler Tolbert can be our late inning pinch runner.

  2. If the Royals do not sign Hayes or trade for an outfielder. Do you think the Royals sign Castellanos( not my wish list. Bc of finances) once released from the Phillies? I really wanted the royals to resign Yaz. I truly felt Yaz was a huge upgrade

  3. Hayes seems to be the alternative to the true impact bat. If Rosenthal report is true that they cant afford another acquisition without moving money, then Hays can be had if they can move Bubic and Schreiber.

    I would have liked Hays over Thomas but now that JJ got Thomas it's time to get an everyday LF not another platoon bat

    If that OF core is only Isbel,Collins, Hays, Thomas, Rave and that name thy not mention it will not change anything and KC will stay in 3rd place in 2026
