Dylan Larkin caps off INCREDIBLE comeback over the Dallas Stars

The Red Wings started well, but were heavily outgunned the latter half of the game. Despite that, and bad penalties, Detroit perservered and came back to beat a very good Dallas Stars team in OT. Dylan Larkin scored the game tying and game-winning goals! John Gibson is setting records. #LGRW

  1. Iโ€™m really happy, Gibson is performing well. I always knew he was great but, I was starting to lose faith. Larkin getting goals that arenโ€™t empty netters again is refreshing and amazing. Raymond, is the Playmaker this team needed. I would love it if he went on a scoring spree though. And Emmit Finnie continuing to perform much higher than his seventh round draft pick expectations. Itโ€™s been a great game.

  2. JVR did it all this game; nice goal, trying to deflect a shot with his nuts and the filthiest assist to date! A JVR hattrick?
And I got Brian's back here: In parts of Europe we do celebrate christmas on the 24th, so there actually is something to that "American Christmas" faux pas! ๐Ÿ˜„
    Merry Christmas!

  3. Raymond kissing Larks after the GWG, JVR behind the back between his legs AND! a Dallas players legs… What is going on?!?๐Ÿคฉ Well, Scotty said it last episode i believe, JVR the best hockey player to ever put on skates! ๐Ÿ˜†

  4. I'm stuck wondering if Colorado, Dallas and Minnesota are just that good because they're that good. Or if it's because 8 of the 10 worst teams in the league are in the west. Doesn't feel very competative in the central and any short road trip outside to the Pacific and the only mild concern is if the kids on the Ducks got to bed on time or if the Oilers magically found a goalie for the night. The big 3 over in the central could all be cup run caliber teams but the points and stats are starting to look a bit inflated. They don't seem to be all that much better than the top teams in the east like the media is making it out to be.

  5. Wings are looking good, time and more experience with young defenders and offense should make us a team you will have to go through in the playoffs we really need more from young forwards and Docker smashing Dallas into the boards was what we need more grid GO WINGS

  6. Merry Christmas guys and to all fans out there. Great game last night and great show today. Scottie, you were so on targety with your comments about the schedule. Thank you Brian & Scottie. Ray L

  7. Ill be honest, when Yzerman brought in JVR and Appleton. I was rhinking "why?", and that is why Im sitting on couch watching the game and Steve is a GM. Im glad i was wrong

  8. Jvr has been great because hes huge in the clutch in more ways than people are noticing, hes made some great plays on the back check and forecheck that dont show up in the stat sheet, but theres also his mentorship that is immeasurable which is why some eggheads are confused when i say hes the best free agent signing theyve had in 10 years. He fits what they need now perfectly and is well respected in the locker room according to multiple interviews with players and coaches. But the biggest thing is hes mentoring them how to score where theyve had trouble acoring since holmstrom was there, at the net, the most important spot to score from in hockey, and ive seen ginnie and soderblom shiw massive improvements since jvr has been scoring there.

  9. That game was awesome, and completely changed my outlook on this team. After the west road trip, I was like, "yeah, this team will make the playoffs. probably a round 1 exit, but hell yeah, playoffs." To "if we can get a top 4 defender at the deadline, we could make the ECF" it's not just reacting to one game, but the whole month leading up to it.

  10. If there was ever an episode where i expected scotty to be rockin the aviators it was this one. Its ok, i hide disappointment well ๐Ÿ˜‚ Merry Christmas guys, hope the best for you and yours.
