  1. Coach has this team in 2nd place and nowhere near where either of you predicted they'd be and you still can't help but to take swipes at his methods. You both sound like two fan girls who wear their Matvei jerseys to class everyday.

He came in overweight, unconditioned, and is a half a step slower. I'm thinking Danny, Jonesy, and Tocchet are all on the same page on how to proceed..

  2. Michkov looked slow off a back to back. Definitely a conditioning issue, I want to say that’s why his time on ice was lacking. He was not in good form tonight and probably was seen as a liability.

  3. When tipp is on the ice you know they’re going to come with speed and not just dump the puck but be able to race after it in the offensive zone. I don’t see that from MM. MM seems to do less with the puck. I can’t justify him not getting scrutiny.

  4. the positive is that Ersson held an opponent to 1 goal and did not allow the tying goal which would have changed the whole psyche of both teams. And agree with the lack of minutes for Matvei and Grebenkin. Are they that bad defensively? After Grebenkin's huge game against Vancouver you would have thought he'd be rewarded with more ice time.

  5. Thank you both for bringing us so much insight into our beloved Flyers. Keep up the great work! Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year from East Coast Canada! 🎉👍👍

  6. The Flyers are succeeding because of a commitment to keep the puck out of their net. Shows what a system change alone does in the NHL. You’re not getting a “haul” for Dvorak at the trade deadline because the acquiring team is getting a rental. The Rangers loss was an Ersson loss; they led with 3 minutes left and he let a routine save go right through him, and was awful in the SO.
