If he can sustain it until the end of the season, it would be the 2nd best free throw percentage of all time after Jose Calderon 98.1% who was only shooting 2.3 FTA per game compared to Leonard's 5.1 FTA.

  1. I heard them mentioning this during yesterday’s game but i didn’t hear who they were talking about so i just assumed Steph lol. crazy

  2. I saw this the other day and did a triple take before figuring it was a typo and verifying on another site. Absolutely insane. Those are robot numbers.

  3. A bit of context: that’s in 19 games played so far. 5.1 * 19 = 97 FT attempts this season. Jose Calderon did it in 68 game * 2.3 FTA/game = 156 FTA. It should be interesting to see where Kawhi is at in about 10 more games.

  4. Let’s see if he can reach the threshold to be able to have any records from the season. He tends to not play.

  5. I am going to bring this up every time someone tries to say long arms or big hands make it harder to shoot well.

  6. So the theory that the reason Centers miss FTs is bc of their big hands should be debunked by now. Kawhi has one of the biggest hands in the NBA.

  7. Terrell Brandon was at 98.8% his last year when his career was ended before he could qualify for season records.

  8. Had a gym teacher in high-school who used to brag that he could hit 100 out of 100 free throws. No one believed him, so the students set up a charity event where he would shoot 100 shots – and get donations for every one he hit. He hit 100. In front of a crowd.

  9. Remember when Stephen A called him out for being injured often and said he should retire? Fck Stephen A!
