I read the article and the NFL.com states that Carson Schwesinger is going to win. I believe that Carson is not win the DROY. History tells us in the past 10 seasons, approximately over 7 rookies were Defensive Linemen. In order to win DROY, you need elite, game-changing production (sacks, tackles for loss, turnover, coverage), High draft position (1st Round picks), Playing Time, Highlight-Reel Plays and Scheme Fit. Although the Browns and Falcons are known of not being consistently successful. I feel that James should win it.

No. Don’t really care about history. Carson Schwesinger has been the best defensive rookie
you only feel like he should win it because your a falcons fan.
He’ll have to get to 10 sacks to make it even close. Just is what it is.
That said, I wouldn’t take Carson straight up for JPJ. I’m guessing most GMs in the league would agree with that, too.

Idk man I personally haven’t seen anything about this Carson dude or heard anybody talk about him outside this sub. Definitely haven’t seen him play. But based on the glaze he gets in the falcons subreddit I’m gonna say he should win over JPJ
Yes, 100%. Money in the bank. The NFL wants the Falcons regime intact because it’s good optics. Pierce earning DROY will help at least justify Terry’s continued tenure. Expect a very healthy dose of ref ball to keep things competitive on MNF as a win there, or a least a one score game, Morris is back 100%.
