  1. What is realistic is to Get Ewers to that quality backup QB2 spot. Maybe he becomes a Purdy. We will see. Either way, drafting a qb in a later round should be a goal. We are almost guaranteed at least one more year of 'pain' watching the Phins. Even if Ewers is good, we still have holes on the o-line and secondary. D-line/edges/Lb/Wr 1a and/or 2 are also needed.

  2. Cut Tua, no one will trade for him (at least no one in their right mind). Definitely keep Waller, Achame, and Waddle. Don't select a QB in the draft, but get an established QB. Example: I also think Trevor Lawrence is overrated, and which early QB pick has really worked out? Not very many…

  3. plz keep tua bring competition and building the team. If the team is remotely good next year and Tua is bad, cut him. But the first time with Mike McDaniel, the roster is bottom 5 in the league, and he is bad is unfair.

  4. Hopefully they end up at 8, then can trade back a few spots and collect more draft capital – build from the trenches with tough nasty blue collar guys who aren't afraid of the cold. OL, DL and CB should be the focus in my opinion. It's not flashy, but it's what is needed. Tired of the finesse stuff – we need to be able to get that 3rd and 1 in the snow when it counts. Team needs to toughen up. Worry about the QB next year… And no more crazy money on high priced free agents. Need to build through the draft to be successful.

  5. I'm not trading Waddle, I'm picking best player available in the top 4 rounds. The Dolphins have only a few positions you can say they are set at.

I'm not drafting a quarterback unless it's in the later rounds on a quarterback with upside.

Free agency I'm bringing in young veteran quarterbacks with upside to compete with Ewers. I'm not trading for any quarterback, period.

Then I am filling any roster gaps with affordable veteran players in free agency.

After that I play the season out and let the chips fall where they may.

You're either going to do well or more likely going to struggle.

Next year if we are still looking for a starting quarterback, I go get one.

Stop trying to build with expensive FA or drafting for need. We fail every time with this approach.
