  1. They would want a 1st and maybe Dalton if they like him. They wouldn't do it but tbh I wouldn't be suprised if thats the best most common sense trade they could make by deadline

  2. WHY CAN'T THE SO-CALLED GENIUS JJ TEACH THEM HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE?! THERE IS NO SECRET TO PLAYING GOOD DEFENSE. IT ALL COMES DOWN TO EFFORT AND COMMITMENT. WTF ARE THEY DOING IN PRACTICE?!?!?

  3. Tbh, idk if I would trade for Ellis even if we get Monk. As much as I like and miss Monk, I do think getting a 3&D guard off the bench like Josh Green or Terrance Mann would be the better thing for the team especially if they don’t have to give up crazy draft picks and then they can go all in for Herb Jones. Similar picks you used for Ellis but I’d do expiring contracts, future 1st and a pick swap for Herb.

  4. Rui is a Valuable trade asset. Wouldn’t want him traded for Malik Monk. I’m sure Rui would average well above 17 ppg if the coach utilized him properly. He’s one of the best shooters in the NBA and is still young. I’m only trading Rui if we can land Herbert Jones.

  5. Either is fine as no Laker is a no trade player for, they all have flaws.

Starting 5 is more about scoring than anything else. Slower at every position nightly. Has 2 PF with similar style 2 G with similar skill sets, C is upgrade this season in Ayton. All this together is going to win in the season most nights on 3 of the 5 starters offense, won't cut it in the post season.

Smart is about the only bench player that brings it. Rest come and go with being to much of 1 way players. Monk bad contract but an upgrade to the bench scoring which is hidden by how bad the defense of overall team looks. Lack of scoring that's consistent beyond Luka, AR, Bron is the biggest issue of the Def being bad.

Bron moving to 6th man inserting La Ravia at SF would help starting 5 balance with them being overall faster unit. Biggest need is to get a quality starting SF, move Bron to bench allowing Rui to start at PF. Bench scoring goes up with Bron as 6th man and role of just scoring punch off bench. This team would benefit from following the Pistons bad boy days of keeping starters fresher with the team depth of known roles for the bench.

  6. Why are you giving salary relief AND draft capital AND taking on Monk’s bad contract for 2 bench players? The first one is an awful deal for the Lakers. The 2nd one makes quite a lot more sense. Although, still need a 5th starter.

  7. The move to make on my opinion, if they're open for business would be Dalton, Gabe, Kleber + a first & a pick swap for Miles Bridges. Money works & free's up 2 more roster spots. Gives us a legit 10 man rotation

  8. Listen im not saying Lebron is washed, he's very good still. But all of our problems came very soon after he came back. We played some easy teams for him to start and everyone said he fits way too early. His style of play doesn't fit this team at all with him still trying to be the same Lbj of the past. Its extremely obvious. These trades wont change Lebron, Rui was playing amazing before Lbj returned. Literally Luka AR and Rui were playing better before…

  9. I would trade Rui, Gabe, Kleber, Knecht, those 3 picks for Ellis, Monk, and Sabonis. This would actual fix the roster. Move Bron back to 3, Ayton and sabonis would be kill on Off. & Def. broads, and our defense and bench scoring would get a major boost.

  10. Do which ever you can to do it, to get both Monk/Ellis

Then go get RBIII and Thybulle, those 2 shouldn't cost too much

Ayton/Hayes and RBIII at the center spot would be dope and Thbulle is a nice package 🙂

  11. Can you look into Kessler Edward’s and Keon Johnson? Both athletic 3 & D wings that could fit the lakers perfectly. Edward’s is playing for Denver’s G league team and Keon is with Bostons G league team
