Tonight was rough. I don’t blame him though. His offensive line and center gave him no help. He had 1 step before he was mobbed in the backfield. The center was especially egregious. He made several wrong calls, misidentified blocks, and caused 3 of the fumbles.
God, I hate some of these new Rams fans.
Have no issue with Goff he is who we thought he was when we traded him, good QB but we would never win a SB with him. The trade was a win for us from day 1 the SB cemented that in any rational persons mind. I think this is more directed towards irrational Lions fans who somehow have created a myth among themselves that we disrespected Goff by trading him and giving up picks for him and got an aging Stafford for him that was delusional people.

The Lions were a winless team when Stafford was there. The Goff trade literally saved their franchise. You guys are laughing at the lions who are perennial contenders now, for getting eliminated from the playoffs…in week 17. You couldn’t even begin to say something like that 5 years ago.
Lions were 5-11 Staffords last season there. And that was actually an improvement on the previous season. Acting like they lost the trade is just beyond stupid. Both teams benefitted. They are in a MUCH better place right now. Relax
This is why the Rams are the best organization. They know how to get rid of things that ain’t working
Realistically even if Detroit moved all the way to the next phase in that graph… who would the Lions get to replace him ?
Even if a hypothetically #1st overall pick, are any of the current NCAA draft class QBs ready for the NFL?
All the good QBs playing demand top dollar and probably a king’s ransom similar to what the Rams gave Detroit in picks.
That leaves the Lions looking at what the CFL, UFL… the German league?
