  1. Though it’s unfortunate how the end of his White Sox career played out, as an Iowan this is still one of my favorite baseball moments

  2. This was the peak of being a white Sox fan between 2005 and today. And most likely for the next 6-7 years at least as well.

  3. And then he never did anything else notable in his career ever again.

Edit: I thought this was obvious, but yes I was referring to the incident with JRam

  4. It’s crazy how the FOD will never host a better game than this.

They really got it right on the first try. One of my favorite games ever.

  5. They were calling him one of the faces of the game after this. Crazy rise and just as crazy of a downfall.

  6. Is it me or would it have been a better moment without the fireworks spam? Seemed excessive to me and not really in the spirit of the classic field/era.

  7. This was such a cool game, and a great concept. It’s a shame it didn’t continue because the next season’s FoD game was the complete opposite. It was so dull almost no one remembers it even happened.

  8. Man, I refuse to believe we have seen the last out of Tim Anderson. He was electric and is still 32 years old

  9. Eight home runs were hit in this game. I swear Jimenez was just trying to foul off a pitch and still managed to send one into the corner field. As much fun as it was to watch, they were obviously using the special baseballs.

  10. As an Iowan, this was one of my favorite mlb games ever, especially one that didn’t even involve one of my favorite teams. Such a perfect game and night, basically impossible to top it.

  11. this was the white sox equivalent of the devin hester TD return in super bowl XLI. it’s all downhill from here.

  12. It’s funny that this is posted because any other time Anderson is mentioned everyone acts like he’s this major asshole that deserved to be punched by JRam.

  13. In much the same way Vikings fans have Paul Allen and Joe Buck’s call for the Minneapolis Miracle burned into their souls, I have Bucks call for this one.

“Anderson…*hits it in the air to right!* Back at the wall and the White Sox ***WIN IT!***”

  14. Was such a great game. Idk if they’ll be able to capture it at any other special location game. League will be chasing that dragon for a while
